Not a great first experience!

On line site stated they had Epiphone Les Paul guitar case in stock at $69.99, a few days later received email stating case was not in stock and wouldn't be for another 30 days. Customer service had good follow up but they shoudn't use teaser prices to draw you to site if they don't have item.

I've purchased a couple Shure products from Sweeterwater.com with no problems. Customer service was A+ and I received the product in a timely manner. They aren't the cheapest but service is more important to me. One order I entered the incorrect number. They were more than happy to let me return the product and credit my account. Received the new product within a couple of days. I have another order to place and am going to give them another shot. I am a REAL customer, not an employee!

I'll walk down the list here:
My item (a new case for my bass guitar) was delivered on time and it was free shipping which a lot of these sites do not do. I got the item I asked for - it was in good condition also (no scratches, dents). Customer service I didn't have to deal with, although they did email me to confirm the item was shipped which I like. Overall I am happy - I got a great deal on my guitar case and the shipping was free. I'd definitely shop here again. |

My on-line order was followed by a phone call from Sweetwater. They just confirmed the order and asked if there was anything else I might be considering to purchase in the future. I mentioned a wireless microphone system and they were able to give me relevant information to consider. There was no pressure to change or add to my order. They shipped the order right away and I received it within the time frame projected.

I ordered from Sweetwater for the first time yesterday, and I couldn't be more pleased. First of all, they had the best price for the item I purchased, plus free shipping and no tax. Today I received a call from one of their customer service reps, who wanted to make sure that my shopping experience was satisfactory.
He struck up a short conversation about the item I purchased, and shared his experience with it (he was also a guitarist.) Very friendly guy, and genuinely interested in my feedback. I would most definitely shop there again!! |

When I waited too late to purchase my son's guitar for Christmas, I was frantically searching the Net for one and found it at Sweetwater. I was amazed at their customer service. They called me immediately after I placed the order because I had checked that it was a gift and I had used my business address. The guy was so nice and told me they were always there if we had questions or concerns about the product once it arrived.He gave me his number and extension and his assistant's number and extension. The order shipped super fast.
On Christmas Eve, when I realized I was one gift short for this same child, I was able to order a gift certificate on-line and have it e-mailed to me so that I could wrap it. Most websites will only mail them. Then today when my son used the gift certificate, we received an e-mail a short time later saying the items had shipped. Not to mention the shipping was free! They've won our business (for as long as this music phase lasts). |

This is my second reveiw posted after placing two orders with sweet water. This company has been calling my cell phone and my parents home. I did not list my parents home phone number on my order so I assume they looked them up on the internet. I hope they read this reveiw and stop harassing me. I did nothing wrong as a customer. They are the ones at fault and need to make this up to me.

Wow these guys hit me good. Bought a gig bag hardshell bass case and a pedal. Hardcase was sold as new for $125, received a used and damaged hard case. I can't believe that. Was also sent the pedal in a different shipment and was sent to my billing address instead of my shipping address. The pedal was lost. Now I have a used hardshell case, no pedal and a show to play tomorrow night. WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS!

I'm definitely a jaded customer when it comes to purchasing online, and music gear in general. Sweetwater has won my lifelong allegiance by demonstrating amazing customer service techniques that are simple, but go a long way to show how dedicated this company is to giving their customers a positive experience! As soon as I placed my order (which was no more than $60, mind you) I received a call from a customer service representative letting me know that it will be shipped shortly. I even received a follow up call more than a month later to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase! Oh, and the package had a few treats thrown in as well! Airheads, anyone? These guys rock!

I ordered a $5 insert cable from Sweetwater. That's five measly dollars...and free shipping to boot. Within two days, I had a message on my machine stating my order had been shipped, and telling me to feel free to call if I had any questions and the cable was in my had within three days. On this alone I was very impressed. But that's not the end of it. A week or so later, THEY CALLED AGAIN!!! For a $5 order!!! How rare is that? Do you think I'll consider ordering from Sweetwater again? Damn straight. Did I mention two follow-up calls for a $5 order? Wow...

Both times, I placed my order at night, and the next morning I got a personal phone call from sweetwater just to let me know that my item had shipped and to ask if I had any questions. I will definitely order from Sweetwater Sound again. I was contacted at least twice by email and phone when my order was backordered, before I even had a chance to contact them, and received my order a few days late but new and functioning perfectly. Other places may be cheaper, but I seriously doubt that they have the customer care and relations that Sweetwater Sound has. Most of the time you get what you pay for. Don't be at all afraid to order from these folks.

Recently purchased a Gator semi-hardshell case for a Roland 88Key digital piano from Sweetwater. Although the specs loosely describe the case dimensions, I needed to speak to someone for advice on a G76 case since this piano is very slim-line and would be lost in the 88Key case. I called the SweetCare Center 800-222-4700 and spoke with Jeff Rodgers. Jeff knew the exact dimensions of both the keyboard and case I wanted and put me at total ease with my selection. He also recommended the correct microphone and amp that I will be purchasing from Sweetwater in the near future. My local music center didn't have the product nor the knowledge to help me with this order. I've used the case several times now to transport my daughter's keyboard to and from college. It is perfect. I'm glad I found Sweetwater.com

I ordered a keyboard and stand from Sweeetwater.com. I got a phone call the next day (early - my order was placed the night before) to let me know the stand was back-ordered and they wanted to know if I wanted to wait. I didn't - so I got the keyboard in about 3 business days and it didn't work right. So, I emailed them the next day and I got a phone call in 5 minutes about it! I was connected to technical support and he patiently helped me to decide if there was something wrong with it (there was). So, he sent a new one 2 day FedEx and sent a return label for me to ship the old one back! I was very impressed with everything - plus I love the keyboard! Oh, it was free shipping (both times) and they were the cheapest on the web for the keyboard I wanted. They really went out of their way to give me excellent service!
