Swanson Health Products

Swanson used to be ideal in most regards and my orders would usually arrive within 4 to 5 days. Then, concerned about shipping costs they added a surcharge for shipments to Puerto Rico, Alaska, etc., and changed shippers from the postal service to a company called ParcelPool. From that moment onward my experience with Swanson has been one of chronic frustration. No longer are my orders received in 4 or 5 days. I am lucky if I get them in 15 days, if not longer. This is unacceptable and has prompted me to switch the bulk of my supplement orders to iHerb, a company that always delivers within 3 to 5 days. Swanson used to be my number 1 supplement supplier but from now on they will be the last resort. Another example of some genius manager coming up with cost-cutting measures without considering the impact on their clients.

Swanson's shipping packing is B-A-D.  Got it - BAD.

I have called about this three times.  Each time the operator did not want to hear about it - I was the problem.

One of my orders came in leaking of two hand soap liquids; goo spread over the remaining bottles.

I remarked that I would write Lee Swanson.  The operator's response was a sharp laugh and comment (apx) 'Good luck.'

I wonder if this will get a response - positive response?

I have been a good customer of Swansons for over 10 years now and have lived in 3 different states during that time period!! I usually order at least $300 or more of products each month. Most of the time, they do an EXCELLENT job! I really can't complain. Their prices are the best in the nation, and their quality (of their own brand) gets better every year! They have improved in EVERY way in the last 10 years. I will always shop from Swansons as long as they can offer such reasonable prices; prices that the average middle - class American can afford. The product I ordered was out of stock and their supplier missed the commited delivery date and they could not deliver to meet my delivery deadline . Swanson was open and honest about the situation which allowed me to make alterate arrangements to get the product.

Always a great selection at great prices. Orders are consistently on time. Those taking orders by phone have always been pleasant and willing to answer questions. I paid the extra 1.50 for express shipping, but still haven't received my product. It takes forever to get what you order, but they're the cheapest around for vitamins and minerals so I have to shop here.

Swanson's website is easy to navigate. Product information includes a picture of the ingredients, purpose of the supplement, reviews from users, etc. I had all the information needed on one page. Prices are lower than I've seen anywhere else and shipment is fast and reliable. I am so happy my doctor recommended Swanson's!

I called Swanson Health Products and placed my order by phone and about a week and a half later I received my order. I used to make online purchases with many companies, but I will be ordering only by phone in the future, as I recently had fraudulent activity on a credit card.

Only disappointment is they took a few days to ship their in-stock products. Most merchants I shop with ship same day and that is a sign of respect. Shipping days later is not good in my opinion, whether they state this on their website or not. My favorite online stores will continue to be those that show in or out of stock on each item and those that ship same day of order, if order made before a certain time such as 2:00pm that day.
