I ordered the merchandise. They confirmed my order twice. Several days later they advised me that the item was out of stock and would not be available. If they did not have the merchandise, they should not have confirmed my order. I had the opportunity to buy a similar product in another store but di noty buy it because it was on order from Sur La Table. Now I missed out twice.  I would not shop here again	Overall Rating:

My problem arose because I ordered a gift online and it took a week before I was notified that the item was backordered. The customer service agent was able to arrange it to be sent from a store so it was taken care of, just a late birthday present. The nearest Sur La Table store is a 90 min. drive but next time I am likely to do that or call a store directly instead of ordering online.  I would shop here again	Overall Rating:

We are leaving for a 3 week vacation and I asked for them to send a new one when I get back but they have not responded to that either. My purchase was a gift for my sister. Everything was received in good condition. She was able to exchange one of the pieces at her local Sur La Table store for another color. (It was a free piece of bakeware. We had not been able to designate the color she wanted when I ordered it, but she had no problem exchanging it after she got it.)
