It's always a crap shoot when ordering online from a vendor you're not familiar with. I've heard horror stories about many online vendors, so as a result I don't do much online ordering. In the few times I've ordered from online vendors, I've been fortunate and have stuck with a couple vendors. The only problem I've ever had is with B&B Office Supply, a company I'll never deal with again.

I do the layout and design for a local full-color magazine and have been looking for a more efficient way to provide our proofer with the pages once they're laid out in InDesign since she lives about 30 mi from here. I'd been printing out hard copies that had to be delivered to her, she made her corrections, then picked up and delivered back to me to make any corrections in the layout. Obviously this isn't the most productive way to do it! So I began researching various options for more effective proofing and discovered Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro is exactly what we need since I can do a low-res PDF of the layout, FTP it to our proofer (who will also have Acrobat 8 Pro), she can then add her corrections/suggestions directly to the pages (pretty cool feature), re-save the file and FTP it back to me. I can then easily see her corrections highlighted in yellow, with each correction linked to a text box containing her comments, and make the corrections in the layout. Easy and quick. I informed the magazine owner of Acrobat 8 Pro and what a tremendous help it will be, so he said he'd order the software as per my recommendation and basically left it up to me to find the best price from an online vendor.

I've used Ivorcom in the past for my personal software orders with good service, so checked their price first. Then I decided to do a price search for Acrobat 8 Pro and found several other vendors with better pricing, including SuperDealOnline. Turns out they had the best price. After some research and reading other comments about the company...and they guaranteed that the particular software I wanted was original from Adobe...I decided to give them a shot and let the magazine owner know. I'd never used this vendor so it placed a bit of pressure on me since if I chose a vendor that didn't come through or caused problems, my name would be mud. So I had to pick the best vendor with the best price and trust my intuition. Turns out SuperDealOnline came through with flying colors.

ORDERING/SHIPPING EXPERIENCE
Prior to making a decision to use SuperDealOnline, I called them via their toll-free number just to get a feel for how they handle customers and their questions. My call was immediately answered by a knowledgeable, polite, and helpful gentleman who answered all my questions with professionalism. I told the sales rep that I was researching vendors for the owner of the magazines and would provide him with SuperDealOnline's prices, shipping, etc., to which the sales rep replied, "No problem. Just let me know. We'd like to have your business."

SuperDealOnline had the best price by far for the Actobat 8 Pro retail DVD, so at my suggestion, the magazine owner ordered two copies from SuperDealOnline...one for myself and one for our proofer. When the order was received, only one copy was sent. The magazine owner called and was told it was a mistake and would send another copy out next day air, which they did. So they handled the mistake quickly and apologized for the oversight.

The software is exactly as advertised. I loaded it yesterday with absolutely no problems. The key code (serial #) is included on the back of the DVD cover.

BOTTOM LINE
Based on this first experience with SuperDealOnline, I'd recommend them to anyone. They were professional, helpful and polite, and took care of their shipping mistake immediately. With great prices, this makes SuperDealOnline a reliable vendor in my book and I'll use them for my personal orders in the future.
