Takes 6-8 weeks to receive first issue according to their website. It took about 3 months. Wasn't too happy about that. I did contact customer service. They were very slow getting back to me. I also contacted the magazine subscription department directly. They responded faster than supermagdeals.com did. By the time I heard back from supermagdeals.com I had just received my first issue.
It's been about 7 months into my subscription now. I just got an email today for renewal (it was a year subscription). The email states that my subscription will be expiring within the next 3 months. I checked with the publisher and it does not expire for another 5 months as it should. So I'm not sure why supermagdeals.com is saying that it will expire within the next 3 months. I emailed customer service, however I don't expect to hear back anytime soon.
My other issue with this internet company is that I went on their website to check my account and see what date they showed expiration to be. According to their website I do not have an account at all. They have no record of my email address on file. Now obviously, since they sent the renewal notice to my email, that's not the case. It's a simple case of disorganization on their part. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing.
The price is great. I've been receiving my issues on a steady basis for 7 months now. Yes, they are slow on the initial order, but the savings made up for it. I am a little worried about how renewal will go. I'd like to renew at that good price and not have a lapse in delivery. I have a feeling that's not going to be the case....especially since they don't even show a subscription to be renewed in the first place.
