I am an online junkie – I admit it! If I can have someone bring me something to my door for free or cheap delivery, then I am all over it! I used to spend two days a week just running errands because we need this here or that somewhere else. It became too complicated for me to continue in this way, so I turned to online shopping for almost everything!

Staples.com is one of my favorite sites because I always seem to need pens and envelopes and ink and many more items.

navigation, appearance, selection, etc….

The overall appearance of the site is attractive and doesn’t confuse me with little pop ups everywhere. I can easily search for a specific item or model number, but also can just type in a general word like “envelope”. The searching function finds what ever I seem to need at the time and adding items to my cart is easy. It is easier for me to find what I am looking for with less distraction by utilizing their search function and narrowing in on what I need.

The selection on Staples.com seems to be much bigger than in the normal brick and mortar stores. I was able to buy an entry level business machine on the website even though it is not carried in any of the stores at all.

delivery and returns…

Delivery has always been smooth and items usually get delivered much faster than their original estimate dates. I have had items delivered free next day by both a Staples courier as well as UPS. Items are packed nicely and delivered promptly.

If you are not satisfied with your item, returns can be made at either a Staples store or you can call them and have them pick it up. Return postage is free on defective items. There are some time and packaging (opened/unopened) limitations on software, hardware, etc., but office supplies can be returned at any time.

Prices are very reasonable on this website. In addition, Staples has a 110% price match policy. This applies to any identical item you find within fourteen days of your purchase.


features I like and extra perks….

I like that Staples.com stores my personal information as well as credit card info for easy ordering. If you are uncomfortable with this, it is only an option and not a requirement. Staples.com also keeps my Staples Reward info handy as well as a convenient order history for quick reference. You can easily go back and reorder something that you use regularly with this website.

When I buy items on Staples.com, I am receiving a few perks that add up to some nice savings. I have a Staples Reward card which not only gives me free shipping, but also gives me a percentage back depending on what tier I reach with my purchases. Staples Rewards also provides me with some nice exclusive coupons. Staples.com contributes 2% of my complete purchase amount to my Upromise.com college savings accounts. In addition, I pay for the entire order with my Amazon.com credit card and earn a point for every dollar spent (2500 points gets me a $25 Amazon gift certificate). I love collecting and maximizing all of these bonuses at once!

This is a well oiled machine of a website and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to save some time and money. It is obvious that great care has been taken in keeping this website and the customer service involved going strong!
