very nice stereo and tv racks, easily put together. the media cabinet is a beautiful piece of furniture, but was a real chore to build. Some of the instructions were misleading, particularly about the side doors. It took three days and a lot of effort to complete the job.

I ordered and paid for this item on 12/17/2006. I was emailed that the order was shipped and given a UPS tracking number. After 3 weeks, there was no activity beyond the billing information sent to UPS. I tried to call Stands & Mounts customer service, but no one answered the phone (even when I called during their hours of operation), nor did they return my calls. Since they claimed to have 24hr customer service via internet, I sent them an e-mail. I sent this message at least 4 times and never heard from them. I finally received an e-mail when I threatened legal action against them. This e-mail did not apologize, it simply stated that my item had been "re-shipped" and that they would send me a tracking number when they received it. This was on 1/8/2007. It has now been a week and I have yet to receive the tracking number. I have no idea if they intend to fill my order. I have checked my account, and a charge for $224.00 was paid to this merchant that cleared my account on 12/20/2006. At this point, I would like my money back. I have absolutely no faith in this merchant.

We did not contact customer service, however, the stand we purchased was misrepresented on the color shading. We decided it would be more money smart to keep the stand than to return it, with the restocking fees and shipping fees. We have found someone to give the stand to that can use it and would match their choice in wood color.

The items I received did not match what I ordered. I was told a replacement would be sent soon and it has been over 2 weeks and nothing has arrived as yet. I am still waiting to receive my complete order. I AM TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH STAND & MOUNTS !! The only positive experience was that the Customer Service Reps were prompt in answering my emails.

I was dissappointed that the console came damaged. It appeared to have been damaged prior to shippong as it was evident that the corner that was damaged had been glued back into place. The crack in the corner and some of the missing veneer are visable as the cracked corner is on the front of the cabinet.

During the order process, I requested (in the notes field) that they not use Fedex Ground to ship the product, because I contiually have problems with Fedex delivering my packages to various neighbors. Well, they still shipped using Fedex. When I emailed to complain, I was told that the note was not shown on my order and that I shouldn't worry anyway because Fedex was reputable and they would deliver my package. First, they need to fix their website so that notes typed into the notes field are actually connected to the order. Second, I didn't appreciate them telling me not to worry about Fedex after I have had continual problems with Fedex over the last three years that this person knew nothing about!

Had been searching for a TV stand for some time. found the website online, ended up with a couple of different products that could have met my needs, ultimatley ordered one and we love it. It was easy to assemble, fits in the alcove in my den perfectly, is the right color and size and has the features I wanted. VERY GOOD experience.
