It has been quite some time since I ordered. I have not received the product. I do realize that the Software King is in British Columbia and that the mails are not always prompt with out-of-the country purchases. My credit card has been billed. The time lag is too long for my needs.

Ordering the software was easy to do on their website. The issue was that I was not notified the product was on backorder until after I had processed the order against my credit card. I was in a hurry for the product and would have chosen a different supplier had I known the product was not readily available.
After calling to find out the status, they could not provide a definitive delivery date and I had to call twice to get a response. It took over two weeks to get an item I requested to be shipped second day priority.

I am very disappointed with the SoftwareKing. It has been over 3 weeks and I never received my order. I contacted their Customer Service Department 4 times by mail and sent them 4 emails about my unfulfilled order. After 2 weeks, I was told by their rep that they had shipped it but they will ship it again and that it should be there in 3 days (Friday). The order was not delivered as they promised. The 4th time I contacted them by phone and by mail and instructed them to cancel the order because I would purchase the Windows XP Home Edition from another vendor. Again, they said that the order had been FedXed and that it would be there on Monday by 4:30PM. The order never showed up. I requested from SoftwareKing a full credit to my VISA card, immediately. They said they would issue the credit only after they receive the merchandise back in their company. It is so unfair for this company to be so incompetent and tie up my money indefinitely. I will never do business with the SoftwareKing again and recommend to others to do the same.

I was pleased at the pricing, but a little surprised that the origin of the product was listed as Ireland, I guess that is how they where able to offer the good price. But it is up and running, and registered with Microsoft without a hitch, So I saved about $200.00 off the best loacal price I could find.

Delivery not as advertised (5 business days). After trying to cancel order I was advised that product was shipped DHL and was given a tracking number. I contacted DHL and was advised that they never received product for delivery.
I advised my credit card company to refuse payment. Then I received the product several days later by FedEx with incorrect address information on the label. Requested RMA to return unopened package. No Response yet. |

Minor delays were checked above concerning our order. We received one item overnight. We had ordered 8 items to be shipped overnight. However, upon calling the Software King Customer Service the additional 7 items were shipped immediately overnight. Even though there was a minor delay in shipment of all software items, we were extremely pleased with the service received.
