I found it easy to shop, was kept well informed , received the merchandise in great shape on time. The hardest thing to do was restrict my buying to only what I needed.

I ordered two slip covers for my living room set from Smartbargins.com. I was disgusted with the quality of the fabric and they did not fit. I was not happy I would now have to foot the $20 bill to return the items, but ultimately I wanted the $80 I had paid back. So, I returned the items through UPS. I waited 2 months for a credit back to my account, it never came. The customer service rep denied ever receiving the merchandise...EVEN WITH A VALID TRACKING NUMBER. I am now out $100 with this garbage company and their immoral practices.

I like the site very much and will continue to use it in the future. easy to use site and good selection of merchandise with good prices. I have not had a problem yet so I dont know what dealing with customer service will be like. In my opinion poor customer service is a deal breaker for me, but so far I have had no problems so it is a non issue. Overall I use this site the most. I like it better than going out to the mall. thank you.

I like the quality of their merchandise and really appreciated the 10% discount! However, I felt that they also offered free shipping but then charged me for shipping. I had no way of contacting the company during the ordering process so I went ahead and bought the watch...but I would have liked to understand why I didn't get free shipping! It makes me hesitant to purchase anything else from this vendor. (If nothing else, an explanation of why shipping was charged would have helped!)

Some pieces were delivered broken. Pattern on dishes was flawed. Ended up spending $35 in delivery charges for unacceptable purchase I had to return. Could have as easily thrown $35 out my window as I ended up with nothing.

When you go to this site there is a banner that says free shipping and 10% off but there is no code or addiitional info. I thought it would be applied as it first showed my total w/the discount and free shipping. However, after i ordered it I saw that I was being charged the full amount plus shipping. When i contacted customer service, they did refund shipping charges but said nothing could be done about the discount without the code. There is no code!!

Smart Bargains is FANTASTIC! They have a nice selection of very good products at prices much lower than elsewhere. Items are shipped quickly, and the only return I had to make was easier than any other online store from which I've purchased. When you join their Smart Bargains Club (something I usually refrain from doing but am SO glad I did) you are able to take advantage of special sales and additional discounts. Definitely visit their site -- just don't buy all the good stuff before I get there :-)
