I had to make an exchange as the watch which I received was not the color I expected. I had no problems. I was sent a form for a return with no UPS charge and then re-ordered a second watch and was given the same discount which was applicable on the sale available at the time of the purchase of the first watch. I was very happy with my purchase. I received the 2nd watch and it was perfect.

I recently made a purchase from SmartBargains.com and learned they shipped it to the wrong address. Obviously an inconvenience. Rather than trying to minimize my inconvenience and ship me a new item (or refund my money), they said that I would need to wait 7-10 days for them to 'run a tracer' before initiating the process (another several days) of shipping the item to me. Of course they plan to hold on to my money the whole time, while I hope to some day get something for it. Very unusual and totally unethical. Don't do business with this company.

The sheets were great. exactly what I expected. However the package of pillow cases (6 cases one color) were awful. I am a seamstress and have been sewing since 6th grade. Whoever the your manufacturer is, they don't understand the concept of cutting with the natural grain of the fabric. If these cases were striped they would look like fat candy canes when placed on a pillow!! What a twisted mess. I am returning them for a refund. I will buy locally so that I can see the quality.

I ordered two slip covers for my living room set from Smartbargins.com. I was disgusted with the quality of the fabric and they did not fit. I was not happy I would now have to foot the $20 bill to return the items, but ultimately I wanted the $80 I had paid back. So, I returned the items through UPS. I waited 2 months for a credit back to my account, it never came. The customer service rep denied ever receiving the merchandise...EVEN WITH A VALID TRACKING NUMBER. I am now out $100 with this garbage company and their immoral practices.

I like the site very much and will continue to use it in the future. easy to use site and good selection of merchandise with good prices. I have not had a problem yet so I dont know what dealing with customer service will be like. In my opinion poor customer service is a deal breaker for me, but so far I have had no problems so it is a non issue. Overall I use this site the most. I like the quality of their merchandise and really appreciated the 10% discount! However, I felt that they also offered free shipping but then charged me for shipping. I had no way of contacting the company during the ordering process so I went ahead and bought the watch...but I would have liked to understand why I didn't get free shipping! It makes me hesitant to purchase anything else from this vendor. (If nothing else, an explanation of why shipping was charged would have helped!)
