It was a real leap of faith to order anything from SkateBuys after reading the (very) bad reviews here. BUT, my sweet daughter fell madly in love with one of their ice skating outfits and, despite my showing her many other outfits from other sites, she had her heart set on the SkateBuys outfit. And . . . this turned out to be a great experience all around!
I placed my initial order with SkateBuys for the outfit, including an extra custom rhinestone accent design to be added to the front of it. I also ordered a pair of skating tights. I received an immediate confirmation email back. A few days later, I received a second email telling me that the order had been shipped; how it had been shipped and a tracking # so that I could find out when it would arrive. The outfit arrived exactly as they'd predicted. This was a timely shipment and the outfit was even prettier than I'd expected: the quality is great and they did a fine job with the added embellishments.

I don't doubt for a minute that the other bad experiences happened, but I did want to post this review as well. Perhaps, as in many cases, people only take the time to write reviews when they have a bad experience, and the many good experiences with a company go undocumented. I certainly hope that this is the case with SkateBuys, as we intend to buy more from them in the future. This was a very good and satisfying experience.
