Nice people, nice product and fast shipping

I was totally worried about buying baby furniture online but was compelled to after I couldn't find anything decent at Babies R Us or the over-expensive local speciality stores. I bought a crib and combo dresser from Simplybabyfurniture.com and was very pleased with the furniture, the quick shipping time and the service I received from them. My two emails I sent were answered within just a few hours and I did call into the 800# once and left a voice mail and got a call back within 30 minutes which I felt was good. The rep was was really helpful and cheerful.
I assembled the furniture myself in just a couple hours and it looks great in my nursery. Oh and then I had forgotten to get a crib mattress so I actually placed a second mattress order and the mattress came in 3 days and was so much better than the mattresses I fould locally. I do wish simplybabyfurniture.com sold baby bedding because I bought bedding from another online store and didn't have nearly the positive experience I did with these guys. |

This company was great. It seems that many of the people writing the negative reviews did not read the web site. NOTHING says delivered in 5-7 days and in fact most say the stuff will SHIP within 5-7 days. It is obvious that this company like most online retailers has the furniture shipped FROM the manufacturer. I had enough sense to check if the manufacturer had the item in stock prior to ordering. Finally, this is the exact same stuff I saw in the store better costs it CAN'T be used or a return if it comes right from the manufacturer! The customer service was some of the best I have had and although my crib arrived with slight shipping damage I had my replacement part within 10 days!

DO NOT, I plead you, do not buy your baby furniture from this website!!! Trust me, they have disappointed at every turn. It has been over 3 months, and I have been told 6 different times that my son's furniture has been backordered. If you want your baby's furniture before she or he is born, look elsewhere!!While the customer service people are well meaning, they are also pretty clueless, and they cannot get your items to you any faster.Save yourself the heartache, headache and stomach ache. Shop elsewhere!!!

At first everything seemed ok. they advertise free shipping, and although I later found out it isn't free they did deliver merchandise on time but all 3 peices were damaged.. Returning is not easy and thats when I found out shipping was calculated into price of each item, hence SHIPPING IS NOT FREE i WOULD NOT BUY FROM HERE AGAIN NOR RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE

This baby furniture was a piece of junk. I am very upset about it. It is very flimsy and feels unsafe. The bookshelf especially I can not even believe that a baby company is selling it. It is very very dangerous. The shelves just sit in and if you even touch the shelf they fall down. I will be writting bad reviews about this furniture anywhere I can. I would return it but do not want to pay for shipping. I am going to have to nail the shelves in to make it safe which will probably make the furniture ugly looking. The changing table is also very unsafe. I feel that for baby furniture it should have some safely features but it doesn't. When all drawers are pulled out the thing can easily topple down. Also the drawers are very flimsy and not sturdy at all when pushing them in and out. The wood is very cheap and I am pretty upset. The crib seems to be okay as it passed saftely ratings. I will never buy furniture over the internet again. The Davinci brand is horrible. I have been to the store and found furniture of equal price that is much stronger and safer and am very upset that I wasted my money on this. The only thing that they have going for them is that their furniture is very very nice looking which is what attracted me to it in the first place. If I was SimplyBabyFurniture I would stop carrying that brand. Sooner or later the cheap furniture will hurt a child and they will have a suit on their hands.

We're still waiting to receive the items we ordered almost a month ago. I had to call to inquire about why we had not received the items after 10 days, when the suggested delivery time was 5 to 7 days. I would like for Simply Baby Furniture to be the ones to contact me if the items are not in stock or if there is a delay in shipping. Plus, I never spoke with anyone in person when I called; I had to leave a voice message and wait for a call back. This purchase was much more trouble than I had anticipated.

Ordering and receiving the items were fairly easy. Greatly disappointed with the items when they arrived. Crib rails had obvious damage, side rail had piece of wood missing, changing table leg was obviously broken and then glued together before shipping, bottom shelf had a red arrow sticker on it indicating that it was broken (but was still shipped to me), small hole was in mattress to the changing table. The boxes that these items were shipped in arrived intact, the damage was there before shipment. We cancelled our order for the matching dresser. We will not order from this company again.
