It gives me access to products of my own liking, which are hard to come by here in our place in the Philippines due to limited stocks, sizes, and colors available at the store dealers. Excellent description of product. Received item promptly. Quality exceeded expectation. I was very pleased; more importantly, friend for whom it was purchased as a gift was very pleased. Have always been treated well by Sierra Traders. Find their selection comprehensive, prices excellent. The one return I had to make because of disappointment in the product was handled promptly, without fuss. They are tops, in my book.

This store has highend durable goods. Everything is at a discount. I have never felt that I was at anytime, taken advantage of. Everything ordered comes very prompt and as described in the ads. Hope this store stays around for a long time!

I was pleased with variety, but difficult to find a plain front corduroy in my size 36 with a comfort waist not a fuul cut ion 36 inch waist and 29 length. Need more comfort waist for those with a bit of a belly but not fat elsewher

The ordered some slippers, and then had to re-order and they still weren't right so they have been returned. This is not the usual, I almost keep everything as the product has been exceptional. I have many Christmas presents from Sierra Trading Post and am anxious for the recipent to get them.

Sierra Trading post is an awesome company with amazing customer service. I have been ordering from them for several years now, and love their amazingly low prices on outdoor gear. But recently, they showed me how awesome they are. UPS supposedly delivered my package of 200 bucks worth of merchandise to my front door while we were home. Without knocking. It was either never delivered or was stolen from our front porch, or stolen by the driver. At the very least the driver lied about what time it was delivered, since we were home. Sierra Trading Post replaced the entire order, and reshipped it signature required. No questions asked.

I love smartwool knee socks with medium cushion. I also bought above ankle socks. I have experimented with different styles as you always don't have what I want in my favorite style, my size &/or color. I am a teacher and tend to pick black, brown, blue, tan to go underneath my slacks. Online sorting & selecting was easy as well as check-out. Package arrived in about 1 week by regular shipping method.

Warning!  Call Sierra trading post before purchasing anything and ask if the item will require a  "Return authorization number" if you want to return the item.  If it does - DO NOT order the item.

Certain items require that you call Sierra Trading Post to get a number from the merchant prior to sending it back.  Don't ask me why - seems it is a scam so a company can keep your money and get interest on it a few extra days. 

I tried to return a quilt and it took over 3 MONTHS to finally get my money credited back to my account. It required over a 8 calls to Sierra Trading Post to get this number.  They said they were still waiting to get the number from the manufacturer.

3 Months later, the Corporate Escalation Manager at Sierra Trading Post finally sent me a letter with the number and a free return shipping label and their apologies.

I have ordered many items over the years from them and have been very pleased but I will ALWAYS ASK NOW about the potential for the required "return authorization" and NEVER order a item that requires it again.

The whole experience of buying from Sierra Trading was positive, other than paying another $25.12 at the door upon delivery. I had paid $37 shipping and handling, on top of the price of my jacket so was surprisede to pay this additional amount. Perhaps, international customers could be warned about this surcharge?

horrible customer service.  Sierra Club has good prices but beware of their customer service.  You may not get the discount you were offered.  You may then spend 30 minutes intermittently on hold trying to resolve the issue,  become angry and fatigued, and finally hang up in frustration.  All I can say is buyer beware.  Go ahead and order, but just hope you never have a problem because it may never be resolved.  My experience was so bad and frustrating that I will NEVER  order from them again, in spite of their  prices and endless  discounts for 20%.  The fact is, you may never get the price you were offered!

Prices are good but fulfillment stinks. Not like you get a good deal on shipping either $13 for a pair shoes and some socks.  I have placed an order 10 days ago and still have not recieved it.  This is not the first time this has happened.  I got a message it shipped but UPS did not get the package until 4 days latter.  Total lie.  If you have a lot a patience with shipping then you be fine.  I have no patience for businessses that decieve me.
