Potential ShopNBC.com Customers BEWARE!
After experiencing ShopNBC "Customer Support" for the first time, I have become personally aware of their non supportive approach to their products - Specifically, The 65" WD-65374 DLP TV. I have had this TV for 1 month. The only support that Mitsubishi can offer is the extensive repair work that is now needed to get this TV back to working condition. This TV has blown a "light engine" according to the Mitsubishi authorized 3rd party repair person, that I had to call, to come and diagnose. His recommendation, "If this were mine I'd get this whole TV replaced, it's only a month old" ShopNBC.com simply washes their hands of you once you shell out your thousands for their sub-standard products. In addition, they offered a 100.00 rebate but declined to pay since I turned in the wrong UPC code off of the box that had 5 different UPC codes on it! I am new to these review sites, but I am determined to let everyone know, ShopNBC.com could care less about you as a customer! They offer no support so BEWARE and tell your friends!!!!!!!! |

I recently purchased a Sharp Aquos TV from ShopNBC and was very happy with the delivery and the TV itself. My problem is with the rogue rebate company that they deal with, Worldwide Rebates.com. I sent every possible barcode label that I could find and I still was rejected to receive my $100.00 Rebate.I did this twice as a matter of fact. I hope someone else that has had this problem with this bush league organization will echo my sentiments. Thank You!

This is the best online and offline store available to any person who loves Italian jewelry reminiscent of ancient Rome or luxury items you could not otherwise afford. The service has always been courteous, the returns processed in a timely manner and the quality of their stuff is second to none. I bought a few Pamela McCoy faux furs this winter and never do I go out without getting heaps of compliments and stares because the quality is so high and the coat is so warm as well as beautiful. If you have ever dreamed of owning gold or diamonds but could not afford it, the value pays are reasonable and can make your dreams come true. The other two shopping networks are not as high end or quality as Shop Nbc and I love it so much. I am a loyal customer and hope to see it prosper greatly in the future by expanding their line of goods perhaps clothing for the working girl that is pretty and affordable.

Their jewelry never looks as good in person as it does on the TV. I have bought 8 jewelry items in the last year from shopnbc and they have all gone back. I recently bought a set of earrings, $170, and a necklace $85. Neither item looked as nice as it did on tv. The pendant on the necklace was set off center and the earrings were so flimsy that I was afraid they would break after more than one use. I shop for jewelry from three other tv channels and the only time I return something is because I decide the item isn't what I wanted not because the item is poorly made. I am giving up on shopnbc. Also if you use their prepaid return label they want to charge you $7.99 PER ITEM, they sent me all three items on the last order for only $3.00, what a rip-off.

I do not buy from shop NBC, however last christmas, I was given a gift of an Avion 32inch LCD TV, and for the most part it functioned well. Then one year to the day the AC adapter failed. I called Shop NBC and several time to no avail they were rude, uninterested in the issue and could provide no additional information on replacement parts. I finally found the ac adapter online via an e-bay supplier. When I placed the order I was told that Shop NBC customers are their number one revenue source for adapters since most of the equipments fails with in 1 to 2 yrs of purchase. You have got to love a company that has created a brand new industry just to repair their products. Gee wonder if its a subsidiary???

Last Christmas we ordered a 42" LCD Television. The television arrived on time, but had two bright pixels. They promised (meaning Jim Peterson) that they would either replace the television or send a serviceman to our house if anything was wrong. WRONG!! When we called Shop NBC, they just said it's not our problem, call the manufacturer. The manufacturer told us to call Shop NBC. What a runaround!! Other than the two bright pixels, the television is satisfactory. We also sent in the rebate forms,etc. within 30 days of the purchase of the television and almost a year later, no rebate!! I wonder why Jim Peterson is not on Shop NBC anymore? Could it be that he exaggerated the claims on the televisions?
I was glad to read the reviews on the jewelry. I won't order any jewelry from them as I had planned. Thanks for keeping me informed. I like Pamela McCoy's fashions, they are great and of good quality. |

Words that describe ShopNBC for me are Liars, Fraud, Snakes, Cheats, Con Artist, Non existent customer service. Their "Protection Plan" promises in home service, NO shipping costs, NO hidden fees. Only six months after a purchase, they tell me, "Don't call us, call mfg" even though I paid an extra $160 for their super-sized service plan. The sales pitch and cover letter from ShopNBC are misleading and bogus, on a good day. My advice is to never turn on the ShopNBC channel and above all, do not buy a product or warranty from ShopNBC. They do not stand behind their products. Though I have written confirmation of a service plan that promises in home service, no shipping costs and no hidden fees, I was told they no longer provide in home service and to pay for packaging, shipping and insurance. Avoid ShopNBC!

On June 12th, 2007 I purchased a 14K gemstone ring,
item #J181141-05841-00011. After wearing the ring only three times, I went to place it on my finger yesterday and one main stone is missing. I called Customer Service and they basically told me, sorry you are a little past the one month return period, we will neither replace or exchange it. Their customer service and poor quality control on product go hand in hand--horrible. I purchased a ring mid June of this year, slightly one month later a main stone falls out. They refuse to exchange it or repair it. Absolutely did not care at all. I would caution anybody to be very wary of making an important purchase with Shop NBC--they have your money and couldn't care less after that. Places like this really can rip consumers off. I would suggest that as many people as possible post their problems with Shop NBC and call in to their live studio "talk to the hosts" to voice their opinion on air. |

I've personally had no real problems with ShopNBC, and have found the quality of items purchased to be as good as or better than represented. I'm quite the bargain hunter, and have found their prices to often be the best available (of course, no one is ALWAYS the lowest -- not even Wal-Mart).
The only "problem" was my last purchase -- a 52" DLP TV. I'd ordered before using their Value-Pay program, and was perplexed that I had to wait almost 10 days to be approved for the TV to be shipped. To be fair, however, I'd never ordered anything that expensive from them before. In any case, despite the delay caused by this, the item still arrived on the day they forecasted when the order was first placed. Speaking of the Value-Pay program, I love it. Few retailers will offer 5-6 months at ZERO interest, without having to wait for your merchandise (as in lay-away), or fill out a formal credit application. If your credit isn't perfect, or you simply don't want to deal with the complications and expense of another revolving line of credit, it's definitely the way to go. |

I've bought 3 watches from ShopNBC in the past 3 months, all online purchases. First I see something on TV then I check it out online. Their prices have always been amoungst the best for mens watches. Their descriptions online and representation on TV have always been consistant. Delivery time has been good too. I never had to deal with their customer service on the phone, as others have described nightmares dealing with them, I luckily have not had to. I have been very satisfied shopping at ShopNBC.

My husband received a gift (jewelry) that was purchased from ShopNBC. Of course we did not get the invoice with teh gift, and since they do not provide gift receipts, we had nothing. The gift was hideous and not his taste. Unlike other retailers even those with tighter return policies (like Target for example) they have ZERO policy to accomodate people who received their products as gifts. All we wanted to do was even exchange it for an item more to his liking. Any REAL retailer allows for exceptions to return policies for those who received the item as a gift. Now we are stuck with this item which was probably expensive and will never be used.

Have enjoyed years of watching ShopNBC for high end jewelry. Ordered a couple of things that were very good quality. BUT...recent experience...bought Acer computer with a promised $100 rebate. ShopNBC did not make the rebate link available for the full 30 day rebate period. By the time I called them and they got back to me, they said I had missed the deadline. Their standard answer for customer service is "There is nothing we can do". Change that to 'There is nothing we WILL do.' They do NOT understand the value of KEEPING a customer...completely out of touch with today's smart marketing.

After perusing and watching ShopNBC.com for well over a year. I took the plunge and made a first purchase with them. I was leery at first because they seem to try so hard to move the merchandise. But, they had a Flat screen LCD HD Ready television at an outstanding price that I took the chance. Everything was exactly as described and have been very pleased with the purchase. I have not had the opportunity or need to speak with a phone representative or to return anything. Since my first purchase, I have made a few additional buys and been very pleased with the quality and speed of delivery. I've been 100% satisfied thus far so why not give them a try. The best deals seem to come from the on-line media.
Clothing is the only merchandise I will not order off television or on-line. Mainly, due to the fact they rarely if ever carry designers I like and familiar with--. |

I absolutely LOVE ShopNBC.....I honestly can say that I don't understand the negative reviews. I recently purchased several items using their value pay program. Those of you that have commented on them not honoring the program are crazy. My credit is not the greatest and I was approved for quite a bit of stuff. I can only assume that your credit must be horrible if they refused to service you. Or perhaps you have not made good on value pays with other companies. (they all use the same database) They shipped all the products very quickly. Every single product arrived a day ahead of the initial quote time. The product quality is amazing as well. I will deffinately be making future purchases with ShopNBC.

I have purchased 12 watches from SHOPNBC in the past two months, price ranges from $100 through $700 @. The on-air promotions UNDERSTATED the actual quality of the merchandise. Delivery is fast and on schedule as shown in the order confirmation. My one return was handled immediately and with no problem. Customer service has been more than adequate when needed. Internet investigation indicates that SHOPNBC pricing is the most discounted I have seen on items I have purchased.
This company is just plain fun to do business with and you will not be dissapointed, at least with the watches offered. |

But what they don't tell you is they will replace it with a REFURBISHED TV. I paid for a NEW TV LESS THEN 30 DAYS OLD.. TALK ABOUT BAIT AND SWITCH.. I have shopped with ShopNBC for several years and I do not recall them not accepting a return for any reason. If a product does not meet or exceed our expectations it is an extreme let down. The down side to shopping in this manner is the cost of shipping both ways that we the customer pays for 100%. Wouldn't it be nice if ShopNBC would at least credit back the cost of one shipping fee?

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Ordered 10"Portable TV/DVD Player. Item was delivered on time, However, battery was not installed by manufacturer. When working by electric connection, it did not receive any TV station reception, and only 1 radio station. Totally unacceptable performance. I had to call customer service 7 times and manufacturer twice before getting return authorization. Shop NBC is now refusing to credit me full return shipping costs because they claim they do not pay for insurance. Shop NBC called me at 10pm Friday to tell me this. I would think proper "business calls" be made 8am to 8pm. Will NEVER go back. PS When I went to UPS to return item, two men laughed when they looked at the MN address. "That's where we send all those return LCD-TVs back." That should tell us all everything we need to know.

I was sent the wrong item several times and Customer Service was non-existant and played so dumb that It made me want to give up and just keep what I got. I think that is their tactic, play dumb, fustrate the Customer until the Customer gives in to their game. I returned a broken Watch with a RMA Number and was told the RMA slip would ship it back free of charge. It was shipped back to me stating I had to pay the postage and the box had been opened. How would I know the Watch was broken if I didn't open the box. I gave up and have a broken Watch.

I bought my diamond earrings and they were delivered quickly but they look like plan silver earrings. My son looks and says, where are the diamonds? I told him I'm very disappointed and the worst part is I still have 5 more payments to go!!!. My girl friend in Georgia and I in Florida both single mothers really wanted to by a T.V because we still have big old models. Now that we have read the comments and the terrible customer service we will keep our old T.V. until something better comes along. The last thing we need to deal with is poor quality, poor customer service, poor product. Thanks everyone for keeping the public informed.
