It's been a couple of years since I've last shopped with ShopNBC but the experience is indelibly imprinted in my memory. I'm the first to admit that I like to shop and shop everywhere: retail, television, Internet, everywhere from QVC, HSN and eBay to Neiman Marcus and Tiffany's...so, I feel that I know what I'm talking about when I say that compared to the other companies I've dealt with SHOPNBC WAS THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I still have the two lamps - $200 each - which ruined my tables by leaving black rings on the tables and which have grotesque...peeling eruptions...on their bases...ugh! The inferior nature of the product was irritating enough - but it is the memories of the deplorable, arrogant, customer service representatives which still send me into a cold sweat swearing to never shop again. There have been instances when I've had problems with products purchased elsewhere but these have virtually always been resolved in a manner acceptable to me. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing an item or product from ShopNBC to take time to read the other reviews listed here at Epinions and follow that up with research to find out whether the item they're are considering purchasing is available elsewhere. My advice - SHOP ANYWHERE BUT SHOPNBC, even if it means paying more -
