To those of you that applaud ShopNBC.....beware if you ordered any electronic items, particularly TV's. I purchased a Protron 32" HDTV and was thrilled by the picture quality. A friend saw the set and ordered one himself. I subsequently ordered one for my son. All was good in the neighborhood, yeah right. Seems these sets required an AC Adapter which "expired" almost two years to the day. My friends, went a week later and my sons three weeks after that. This particular adapter isn't available.......ANYWHERE!. The vendor continually lies about getting them in, but hasn't. I ask them to put one "on order" for me with a "we don't do that" response. I contacted ShopNBC for help only to be told the sets are no longer under warranty. I don't want a freebie, just the whereabouts of a replacement ac adapter. My friend had purchased the extended warranty only to be told that it included internal components only. Now I sit here with a tv that I paid a "premium" price for ($1,100) that I can't even use as a coat rack with nowhere to go for help. What troubles me is that Shop NBC would even continue dealing with products made by this company knowing of all the customer complaints......and from what I've seen, there's been hundreds. I firmly believe they could care less about their customers once the payments are made.
