Terrible Customer Service & Slow/Expensive Shipping

Shopnbc has one of the most horrible customer services I have ever experienced on the internet. They charged me $10.99 to ship a small piece of jewelry that weighted probably a couple of oz. At least I expected the service to be fast and reliable and the packaging professional. But as it turned out, none of that is true. The spartanly packed item came late delivered by Postal Service and got stuck in my mailbox. When I called and complained, they didn't even offer to credit the shipping, which many other major internet shopping sites would. At the very least, other sites would offer a coupon or free shipping for future purchase, especially if you ask them. That is the industry standard. If you think about it, it serves a dual purpose: make the customer happy & promote business.
I would definitely be cautious shopping there again. I guess after reading all those horrible reviews, I probably should have not even tried in the first place to contact their customer service. What a waste of time! I dont think their customer service attitudes & polices will change any time soon either. The best way is to avoid them all together.
