I purchase a "Today's value." A lapis bangle.  What was shown on TV and the web site in a high grade of lapis, maybe AA, what I received is a CHEAP quality of lapis, (what is often referred to as Denim Lapis as it is faded looking) when I complained to customer service I was told the photos are shot with "optimum lighting," etc.   This is not an issue of lighting in a photo. The lapis I received has white in the rock and does not show any gold-colored inclusions of pyrite. I wanted to send back for another but the clerk lied and said they were back ordered. I was on-line with ShopNBC at the same time and could have easily ordered another bangle, they were in stock.  I asked to speak with a supervisor, who was rude, talked over me, gave me explanations were not accurate and when I challeneged him, he hung up on me.  The customer service at this company is terrible, these people would be terminated at any other  company. The photo and TV showed lots of pyrite ... not mine! Pyrite strips are considered typical in lapis and lack of pyrite means low quality rock.  The item was inexpensive, but I don't like being lied to and suckered in.  I advise NOT TO PURCHASE from SHOPNBC, no wonder they are facing bankruptcy.
