In total contrast to my recent nightmare with Dick's Sporting Goods, (see my other reviews) I had a wonderful experience with shoes.com. I ordered a pair of shoes on Tuesday, May 1, and they were delivered on Thursday, May 3. I think that's a record in my online shopping career. Navigating their site and completing the purchase was incredibly simple. I received the exact shoes I ordered at the exact advertised price. The shoes were neatly and securely packaged. The best experience with customer service is always no experience with customer service. I didn't need to make a phone call to their customer service department in order to complete the order. I bought a pair of Crocs Islanders. Haven't reviewed the shoes yet but will after I've worn them a while. Before I completed the purchase I Googled up a shoes.com promo. code, slapped it in the box and instantly got 25% off. I always do this if a vendor displays a box to enter such codes. The worst that can happen is they refuse the code.
I wish all my online shopping went this smoothly and I hope shoes.com continues to perform at this level since I'll be using them again soon.
