Couldn`t ask for better service.
Ordered a jacket and a coat for my wife. I ordered wrong size coat. Put it in the same box I recieved it in and returned to Sheplers. Within a week had replacement. Ordered a pair of exotic boots first week in Jan., (2012). Was told probably would not ship until April. No problem. SURPRISE. Recieved them Feb. 7. Very friendly folks. Customer service very helpful. |

Sheplers has terrible service and questionable merchandise. I'm thin and tall. I can only buy pants online. Sears, Macys, etc. do not carry my sizes. The customer service is horrible. The personnel there have very negative attitudes and won't give an inch. They also act kind of stupid. As for the merchandise, I often have to return it. What's questionable are the waist sizes of their pants. They never measure correctly. I get size 30 waist that are like 29s. I buy 29's that are like 30s. The prior being more frustrating. I've looked above and beyond for a better place, but they don't exist. I MUST buy from Sheplers and pray I get the right fit from mislabled pants. And are they expensive!!! Don't buy into their sale items. They are priced the way they should be (not really a sale). This place is a rip off with tacky personnel. But unfortunately, they are the only ones who exist. And I hate them.

After waiting 12days for my boots to arrive I sent an email to UPSL for an update on the whereabouts of my boots. I received a response that the item was never collected. I then went back to Shelpers and they had no idea and have requested there "trace team" establish what went wrong. Still no update after 2days, not a good sign and they have my cash. Wow! Shepler's has changed! I have ordered levi's for 10 years from them without a problem. My most recent order, however, did not fit (cut too big), so I sent the levi's back, unworn and unwashed, with the return slip indicating reason, and tags. Shepler's refused the return since the tags had been temporarily removed when I first got the pants. (Their own "new" policies only state that the tags need to be included in the return shipment, not that they needed to be attached. However, I did reattach them anyway). I called and attempted to reason with Shepler's, but they would not budge.
So much for the handshake guarantee on their web site as of 9/29/2011 (http://www.sheplers.com/guarantee.cfm). (Wonder if they will change it). I protested the charge on my charge card, but buyer beware! I will never order from them again! |

Ordered a $520 pair of boots showing in stock. Called 2 days later to get the tracking info and was told they were not in stock and it would be FOUR month wait , as they came from the manufacturer. I cancellled the order on the phone and sent a cancellation e-mail.
A week later, I received a response that it could not be cancelled, as it had shipped. I thought that is okay, as I wanted these boots. When my order showed up, it was the wrong boots in a different size. Called and was told UPS would pick them up. Contacted UPS and they were unaware of a pickup request. I am now ready to go pay shipping and hope I receive my $520 refund. |

REBATE - GOOD LUCK On April 4, 2011 I purchased two Wrangler shirts with a $10.00 rebate each, I filed for rebate from Wrangler $10.00 Rebate Promotion, PO Box 1919, Memphis, TN 38101. Included were completed rebate coupons, original UPC code (one for each garment) and sales receipt. Fortunately I made copies of all documents. After 3 months, 2 mailings, $6.00 in fax fees, almost $7.00 in phone calls, and approximately 4 hours of my time I received my $20.00 rebate check. Wrangler has lost me as a customer and hope you consider how I was treated before purchasing Wrangler products.

Same as the previous poster...Ordered a pair of boots that I was assured were in stock and would be shipped the next day..10 days later and nothing...After numerous calls and stories of a warehouse delay, they finally showed up. Only problem was they were the WRONG BOOTS! After more calls, I was advised that they were out of stock and for me to choose something else. Things have really changed for the worse at Sheplers. No more for me. I'm done.

We ordered a pair of boots the week of Thanksgiving as a Christmas present. A week later we recieved an email stating that the boots wouldn't be shipped until December 23rd, so we purchased boots elsewhere. We left the Shepler's boots on order becasue they would fit me and I liked the look. A week after that we received a notice that the boots wouldn't ship until January 15th. The following week we received an email stating that they wouldn't ship until January 23rd. Last night we recieved an email stating that the boots wouldn't ship until January 28th.
We've been ordering from Shepler's for over a decade. After this fiasco we won't be back. UPDATE: We finally recieved the boots on February 2nd. |

This store is poor, I ordered a pair of boots December 24th and it said they were in stock, the a couple days later I get an email saying they were out of stock and would ship directly from the manufacturer on 1/07/11, then on then on 1/07/11 I get an email saying they were out of stock and would ship on 1/20/11 ship directly from the manufacturer, on 1/20/11 I get an email saying they were still out of stock and would ship directly from the manufacturer on 01/27/11, so i check Sheplers website and on their site it says they are in, so I write Sheplers and get some lame excuse that it's not their fault because they are shipping directly from the manufacturer So i guess what happens rather then fulfilling existing orders they restock their own stock first and big deal they offered me a 10% discount on a future order after the boots ship, which don't help me any because I will never order from them again.
Stay away from this company like it's the plague, unless you like poor service. |

Sheplers is the worst ever, run away fast, everything they said was a lie. Next day shipping?? yea right, maybe next year shipping. We dont charge your card until they ship, whatever!!! They charged my card right away and still dont know if they have the boots I ordered. I went to the bank and put a stop payment on my product, so far it has been nothing but aggravating and time consuming and cost 25 dollars to stop payment. I place my order elsewhere and had the same boots at my door by the end of that week,

I'm a frequent online shopper and just experienced the worst customer service at Sheplers.
I placed an order July 13, received a confirmation email saying the $175 boots were in stock and will ship the next business day. I didn't receive my boots by July 22 so I called their customer service. They nonchalantly said the boots were discontinued and I should not expect the shipment. There was no apology. They never notified me via phone or email. They just left me uninformed thinking my boots were on their way. They do however bombard me with spam email since I placed my order. I am no longer a customer and will never purchase anything from Sheplers again. |

Very much dissatisfied with shopping experience at Sheplers.
Very poor customer service from Sheplers.com and telephone contact. I ordered two pairs of boots from Sheplers.com. One pair was delivered with no problems. The other pair never came. When I called customer service, I was told that the order was simply cancelled because they didn't have the item. It seems that Sheplers would have contacted me about cancelling my order, but no such contact ever came. Information on the website indicates that customer service is very important to Sheplers, however, their actions do not match their words. I will not shop Sheplers again. |

I would not order from this company. First of all their "return policy" says nothing about worn items. So I tried to return some boots I wore once for an exchange. I sent them back because a 9.5 is HUGE on me when I normally wear a size 10. There is no description on how huge these boots run. I sent them back and Shelpers received them Nov. 7th. I have been waiting for two full months. I even called 3 times. 4 weeks ago they said they were returning the boots to me because they couldn't be exchanged, that's fine. I STILL have not received them. After calling today, the man I was on the phone with had to call down to the warehouse. Guess what? They STILL haven't shipped my boots back. These boots cost 100 dollars. RIDICULOUS.

I received a pair of boots today from Sheplers. There is a prominent scuff with a sliver of leather lifted up on the lower part of the right boot. I am not sending them back because it will cost me shipping to send them back, and I will run the risk of not getting a new pair in time for Christmas. Also there is no guarantee I will not get another defective pair. It is obvious they do not check the boots before they ship. I think with some work I can touch them up. Ordering was easy and delivery was quick.
Shepler's responded to my email to them describing my experience with this order. They gave me two options: 1) Keep the boots until after Christmas, then return them at their expense for replacement 2) Keep this pair permanently and receive a discount. I must say I am astounded at their genuine concern to resolve this to our satisfaction. It is obvious they are sensitive to the fact that the boots are a Christmas gift. |

A terrible company with no help to solve problems made by themselves. Wrong adresses - wrong sendingform to another country. And when you write to them ( secretaries -Jody C and a Miss Christina - there is no answer. I WAS a customer at Sheplers for 2 years, and spend a lot of money there for both me and my wife, but this must be the bottom of american online companies.

It seems that they have good quality products for a competitive price, so I did place an order for the first time on Tuesday last week (June 9, 2009) for my special Western-theme party. I expected to receive my order within 10 days, since the online order shows that the items were available for next-day process. 2 days later (on Thursday), I called them on the phone, and I was told that my order was 'on the truck' to go out. Again, it wasn't true. My split order wasn't shipped out until Tuesday next week (today), and the rest of order wasn't going to go out for another 10 days! Promises, Guarantees, Handshakes!? Are they joking themselves? Customer services on the phone is also terrible. No apologies, no Nothing! If you have time to receive your order (like a month or so), go for it. If you are expecting to receive your order in 1 or 2 weeks, forget. I most likely would not do business again. Very disappointed.

Shepler's well-known "Handshake Guarantee" is anything but. They hotly advertise they remember when a handshake was your word, etc... But expect Sheplers to refuse your return if they feel like it. NOT the way to do business, and don't expect Sheplers management to be forthcoming about this. In a phrase, buy with care when dealing with Sheplers.

I placed an order for the first time using the two day shipping so I could have my order for christmas as the weather has been so bad here that I have not been able to buy the gifts I bought for my husband at our tractor supply store. When my order was still not here and it was getting into the late afternoon hours I called to find out when on christmas eve would I receive my package I provided her with the confirmation # and after being disconnected 3 times I was finally told they were sorry but all my information was in their computer but that the order did not go out and I would not be receiving it for christmas as promised. I could have cried (after getting off the phone with her I actually did) As this was all I got my husband for christmas and now he would be getting nothing. A very bad upsetting experience.

Use to be a great store. I have bought products from this merchant for over 20-years. Lately however, quality of merchandise and experience with customer service has been VERY DISAPPOINTING. I purchased several pair of Western style dress slacks. On three pair, the zipper on the slacks pulled apart, and/or the "tab" separated from the mechanism. In short, it is a very inferior zipper. I questioned the merchant on whether these slacks were still being produced with the same inferior zipper. The response I received merely stated that I would have to send the slacks in for them to review, with no guarantee of an adjustment, replacement or refund. That wasn't the question. All I wanted to know was whether they were still producing with the inferior quality zipper. So, they lose a 20yr+ customer.

I first stopped at Shepler's main competition in Austin, Texas to buy a new pair of boots and a belt. The selection, price, and customer attention were just so-so. I decided I would drive a little further from my home in Round Rock (in rush hour traffic the day before Thanksgiving) to visit the Shepler's store located near Highland Mall. The selection in that store is excellent and, once I got the salesperson Wendy's attention, the service was alright. I was impressed, though, with the selection and the prices. I found the pair of Tony Lama TLX boots that I wanted and got a belt, too -both for a good, competitive price! I'll definitely go back even though I'll have to drive past their competition and travel an additional 12 miles to get there.

Every thing that I buy from Sheplers is of very good quality and I trust what ever I buy to be the same. They have a great selection and fair prices and usually have what I'm looking for. They waste no time shipping my order right out and I call them my friends. If its the wrong size they make it right, no questions asked. when I want jeans or shirts this is where I buy mine! I'm very satisfied with Sheplers.

Very satisfied with Sheplers. Have had the occasion to order from them many times. They have the best selection of Levi's and Wrangler products especially the hard-to-find Tex Twill and Wrancher style jeans. On the one occasion that the shipment was delayed, customer service was very attentive and friendly handling my inquiry immediately. Definitely a store worth giving your business to.
