I order from Sephora.com with complete confidence. They are all about customer service. Shipping is free on orders over $50, and return shipping is free and convenient. Orders include a pre-paid return label; you just drop the package off at the PO. They will credit your card for an item returned within 30 days and give store credit for anything returned after that time. Items arrive within the week, well-packaged. I've only had one problem in many years of ordering from them. A tube of hand lotion opened in shipping. I called CS and they sent a replacement immediately. If all online stores worked this well, I would do more online ordering.

I enjoy shopping at Amazon, too, but you can NEVER get them on the phone if there's a problem or a question.

They have never gotten an order wrong. Once they ran out of a deluxe sample so gave me a $10 coupon to use on my next order. Their catalog of goods is extensive and informative. They provide and solicit customor reviews of items (including negative reviews, so you get a good idea of how products work in the field). The website is easy to navigate. They offer many perks: free samples with every order, deluxe samples to Beauty Insiders, and a pleasant little bonus gift on your birthday. Last year it was a small bottle of Sephora brand shower gel. This year I received three sample sizes of lip gloss. On the whole, a delightful online shopping experience. I've ordered from many, many online stores and Sephora is, in my opinion, the gold standard of how an online store should operate. I understand that the mark up on cosmetics is high, so they can afford these extra considerations for their customers.
