Your shades are beautiful and excellent quality. I was leary about quality because prices were so inexpensive. I ordered double cell honeycomb shades with top down/bottom up optionand I am so pleased. They are far better quality and one quarter the price of previous Hunter Douglas single cell shades I bought over 10 years ago. I had the three shades installed myself in less than one hour, including removal of old shades. Will return to you for any window treatment needs in the future. Thank you!

Great Customer service and product

Saw them an Extreme Makeover and decided to place an order. They saved us about $600 compared to the local blinds guy that showed up at our door trying to basically rip us off. Their customer service was great and the blinds arrived about 1 week earlier than promised. I would recommend them to friends.

STAY AWAY! Poor Product, Worse Customer Service, Price Not Worth the Headache

All of the four shades I ordered arrived damaged. They were cut improperly and would not open. I took 2 weeks and eight phone calls to get authorization to send them back to be remade and they would not remake the shades until they received the damaged ones back.

They remade 2 of the four returned blinds and both of those were damaged - one with the original problem, the other one was dirty. They also claimed that all four shades were remade and shipped.

I have repeatedly asked for the refund that they advertise and have yet to receive one.

I have had to contact my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau.

Customer Service is non existent. They never call or email back and never have information on the order.

STAY AWAY!

Overpriced 70% above Lowes

Unless you live in an area where you don't have access to Lowes or Home Depot there isn't any reason to purchase from Select Blinds. They cost 70% more than Lowes and take 3+ weeks to get your blinds. A waste of $ and time!

Terrible, horrible, no good Customer Service!!

What a horrible company to deal with. Yes, their products are affordable, but with the horrible service, I would have rather paid more somewhere else. I ordered 3 wood blinds over a month ago. They took 20 day to arrive, then had damaged and missing parts. I have tried at least 10 times by phone and email to get them to mail out the missing parts. I can't get ahold of anyone that can do anything about it!!! You just have to leave a message that no one returns. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in hopes of getting my missing parts sometime! After this terrible experience, I have ordered the rest of my blinds at justblinds.com. They arrived in ten days with no missing parts and are hanging in my windows perfectly while my blinds for selectblinds.com are just sitting on the floor, so go there instead!!!

HORRIBLE DO NOT SUGGEST

I ordered over $600 worth of blinds, for our new home. I went to put them up last week, and they were damaged, all of them in many places. Calls and e-mails to Selectblinds were ignored. Finally called again yesterday and was treated very shabbily and told that they had a back log and someone would get a hold of me soon and then asked me to photograph and e-mail pictures of the damage so I did....and, still no response.

I now have to do a charge back on my credit card.

Product is DECENT, not worth it though...

Select Blinds says " Lifetime Warranty ". What a joke. I've purchased four blinds from them over the past three years. One of the two I purchased in 2006 broke. I went to their Internet site and figured I wouldn't have a problem getting it fixed or replaced. I called twice and was told that the warranty department would call me back. No such luck. Then I sent them an e-mail. No reply. I should have looked at e-opinions before ordering from this company. Now, after checking e-opinions on Just Blinds, I ordered a replacement from them.

Select Blinds: Bogus company, bogus guarantee.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Their online guarantee is bogus! It is impossible to talk to anyone in customer service (which, to them is different than their 24 hour "customer care" representatives). They do not return phone calls, even the "customer service manager!" The customer care reps are rude and irritable. I wish I would have read the other negative reviews before I ordered. It seems mine is not an isolated case. They do not honor their money back guarantee as posted online. I ordered 7 blinds, three of which were supposed to have two vertical colored cloth tapes on them. Those three blinds came with three vertical tapes. It is not what was pictured and it looks ridiculous. They're claiming that because I didn't order a color swatch my satisfaction guarantee is void! The problem has nothing to do with the color! Order your blinds from Lowes or Home Depot where not only is the customer service excellent but the quality is better as well.

I can't speak to the quality of product, because I never got it. Order was shipped to the wrong address. I contacted Select Blinds while order was still with UPS to correct. They said that they would have the order re-routed. The order was delivered to the wrong address. I was told that UPS would pick it up and redeliver. Two weeks later, I cannot get a response from Select Blinds. Thankfully, this was a small order and I will be taking action with my credit card, but beware their customer service is as bad (or worse than everyone says.)

Service is blind

Customer service at Select Blinds is too difficult to reach and unresponsive. There is no company protocol for returning a broken blind - such as a form or specific directions. Only vague promises of I'll get back to you rather than a clear answer to your problem. Weeks later I finally got an authorization number to return the item to the manufacturer. The blind was repaired and returned to me but now I am experiencing the same problem after a month of use - the blind will not stay open! I can hardly wait to talk to customer service again.

I have placed many orders(all some type of cellular shade) and each one was done correctly and shipped promptly. Always received my orders before the estimated date. Used the live help and the advice they gave was right on target. Wonderful site--have now replaced all my blinds and have used this site exclusively. I know I get great deals and receive quality products.

Slow production, snotty service

Website states that blinds go into production 1 day after ordering and blinds typically take 5 days, however my order has taken double the length of time. Customer service is more defensive than helpful. If you are in a rush for blinds, do not order from this store.

Would not shop here again. I have spent over $400 and three months trying to get my order right. They will not refund in full, read closely into their supposed "100% satisfaction Guarantee". Customer support was horrible, rude, and would never call back...even from their Customer support manager. I'm so frustrated and disappointed with them I can hardly stand to look at my blinds anymore. There are many other places to spend your hard earned money...shop elsewhere.

Here I am ordering blinds again and came here to check reviews. Last year I ordered from Select Blinds and had a horrible experience. They were not easy to communicate with as they were slow to respond to my emails. They said they shipped in 5 days which was not true and that was the main reason I ordered from them. They charged my credit card on December 10th and on December 18 the blinds still had not been shipped. Select Blinds decided December 29th was a good day to ship. The order finally arrived with a missing valance. We had a patio door blind which was too short and their website states they have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee but that also is not true. There are a lot of other blind companies out there and in my opinion this is one to stay far away from.

I have received nothing but the best from Selectblinds. The service was outstanding and I love the cellular shades we ordered. One showed up and was 2 inches short... Select Blinds listened to my complaint and promptly overnighted a replacement 2 days later (not bad considering it was custom made) just in time for Christmas. Thanks to Debbie and Nate for everything you did.

All cheap stuff. I wanted quality, but didn't get it. I ordered 1 wood blind to test them and the headrail came in bent and they were rude on the phone. Asked me if I had taken the blind out of the box "carefully". HUH?!

Damage and/or missing parts and poor Customer Service

My experience was not a good one. The blinds came up a couple of inches short and the Select Blinds CS Reps could only say it that it never happens (implying it was my mistake). Secondly, a couple of the blinds had damaged headers and none of the shipments came with the correct mounting hardware. It took 10 additional days to get those parts beyond the 2 weeks to get the blinds.
The customer service always defers any responsibility to the "manufacturer" and has to call them first. It will take you days/weeks to get a simple problem ironed out.
I hope you're lucky enough to not have a problem and frankly, I would hope that companies don't pad the great opinion sites like this one with positive opinions by their employees.

Great Buy vs. Lowe's/Home Depot Great Company, beautiful blinds

I began my search for faux wood blinds at lowe's. I was told that (1) 61" x 69" blind would be $140 plus tax. I needed (2) that size and (2) 30" x 69". I figured this would run close to $500. I decided to search the internet and found the four other reviews on selectblinds.com. I payed about $250, with no tax, and no shipping. My mom just had some faux wood blinds installed by a professional. She said mine look as good as hers.

The customer service department was very helpful. The blinds are wonderful, just as they said. Oh yeah, i received the blinds in 7 days from the purchase date. Unbelievable. I wouldn't buy anywhere else. Thanks
