Select Blinds stink, and don't care about customers.

I purchased cellular shades from Select Blinds because they were very well priced, and heavily advertised. Their association with "Extreme Home Makeovers" led me into a false sense of security. Very naive of me! Their website confused me re: measuring. When you click the "measuring info" tab, it says to always measure down 1/8". So I did. It also said to refer to the specific shade type for more specific measuring info, which I did. It made no further mention of the measuring down, so I mistakenly assumed I should narrow down. I was not supposed to. They also manufactured them an Additional 1/8" narrower, so my inside mount shades are 1/4" too narrow and too much light is coming in. They would only agree to fix THEIR mistake. That's right, they will REPRODUCE the blinds 1/8" wider, but will NOT fix my mistake while they're at it. Even though their website was misleading. Their Supervisor, Kevin Wilcox, was the most smug person I ever talked to in my life. When I asked for a refund, he told me I couldn't because I didn't order fabric swatches. WHAT? I really wish I had looked at ePinions before I ordered, because I can see many of you have had customer service issues. Let me tell you, they do NOT care about your business. Also, the shades smell funky., and aren't weighted enough to keep the shade from dancing around in my window. They stink. Pay $10 more per shade to go with someone better!
