I love this place for buying a TV. My local store employees are far more knowledgable than Best Buy and didn't try to push the highest priced TV on me before asking me what I was looking for.
The service plan is far superior to Best Buy because with Best Buy, they only extend the manufacturer's warrantee, which stinks across the board of manufacturers. They cover diddly squat. Sears, on the other hand, covers pretty much everything that can go wrong with the TV, and if they replace it, your service plan transfers to the new TV....not with Best Buy. Best Buy will be happy to sell you another plan, and that hardly covers anything.
Sears plan on TV's was well worth it because I had a no hassle replacement when a power surge killed my TV. They came out to check it out, and gave me a replacement authorization right away and told me to just go into the store to pick out a new TV and hauled my broken one away. How much easier can it get?
The prices were better than Best Buy and Circuit City, and I wasn't filled full of BS when I wanted to know about a TV either. Highly reccomend Sears for a new TV and GET the service plan...it's well worth the money.
