Horrible customer service

I have never had such bad customer service online. I waited for almost 2 months to receive half of my order and after 4 phone calls I am still waiting for my money to be refunded. The clearance items that I bought were supposed to ship from a store but their system never located any available items and apparently thought it was ok to just forget about the order. The 2nd and 3rd times that I called the manager told me I would get the shoes or my money back within 48 hours but I never heard from them again! I just called and while talking to the customer service girl she asked me to call back because their system froze up. So now I get to call them a fifth time. I will never order from Sears.com again!

Total joke. I ordered a Garmin Forerunner 205 GPS on December 23. The web site showed it was in stock and ready to ship. I got a confirmation e-mail that my order had been placed. On December 24, I get another e-mail that my order had been cancelled. No reason, just cancelled. I called them and they said the item was "not available." I asked if that meant they were temporarily out, or would they not be carrying the item any longer. After a several minute delay, they said they were temporarily out. The rep said it was a 'glitch' in their system that showed it available. I said since the item wasn't supposed to ship for another week or so, why not find out when it was going to come in, and ship it faster? Why not offer me the next model up for the same price since it was their mistake?
Sorry, can't do that, your order has been cancelled, have a nice day. |

good bye, sears! i bought bowflex pr1000 on Nov.27, nobody contacted me untill i got an email on Dec.21 stated that they delivered the product to me four times(dec.2,3 11 &18) but no one was home, so they returned the item to warehouse. It's unbelievable!!!!!! Usually, they called me to confirm the delivery date and time for my every purchasebut not this time! they didn't leave any notice in my mail box or call my cell phone after several unsucess delivery, that's is strange! they even lied to me and told me they have left voice message to my cell phone. what the fxxk, i don't have this service from my wireless provider. i suspected they did something wrong at the internet pricing. it was sold at $499 and in stock. i sent them a letter to express my experience but so far no one contact me. anyone has a solution on this case?Is it a binding contract for purchasing something online?

I placed an order for an item online and 15 minutes later I decided the product really wasn't for me so I decided to canel the order. I called customer service only to find out that the order had already been placed and I was not able to cancel it. I was told to refuse the order and when they got the item back my money would be refunded minus shipping. I will not shop at sears or sears online again.

On 11/21/09 sears on line advertised select vaio netbook computers for prices ranging from $77.99 and up. I made an attempt to purchase 3 of them one for each of my daughters and one for myself. The computers were in my cart and I was ready to plug in my cc number. The site just told me that the computers were not available to be shipped today and it never allowed me to complete my purchase. Nothing but trouble. I ordered an item for in-store pickup in August. It is now October, and while I have received notices the item is ready for pickup, and I have called the store to confirm, it is not there when I show up in person. Their phone system regularly hangs up on me and/or transfers me to random departments.
And their "ready in 5 minutes or you get a $5 coupon". Apparently that only counts if they find the item. Previously I had a poor experience buying a washer. Move on, Sears is dead dead dead. |

I just got a 40" LCD TV from sears on Aug 6th, I picked it up within an hour of paying for it. Now a week later they left me a message to tell my order from the electronics dept is ready for pickup. SO I call and sure enough my 40" LCD TV is waiting for me. Should I go and pick it up again? ?????? I think I'll just wait and see if I will ever get a bill

I will never use Sears again. We ordered a brand name Shower curtain rod item (Franklin Brass) and received a generic item.
When I called Sears.com to explain the situation the CSR (who was nice enough) only told that it should not have happened but could offer no explanation as to why Sears shipped a generic equivalent. I went back to the website to make sure I did not make an error in ordering the wrong item and there it was, Franklin Brass shower curtain rod with the same item number as on my invoice. When I researched the cost for the item I actually received, Sears was about 30% higher. What a rip off!! In my opinion, advertizing a brand name product and shipping a lower quality item this borders on fraudulent. Now I will waste time returning the item to Sears and buying the item I want from another store. That was the LAST time I will use Sears.com or Sears for that matter. I wish I could enter "0" stars because one star is a gift!! |

I was promised a dilvery rebate for 2 major appliances dilivered on seperate days. Sears refused the second rebate after calling their rebate center 7 times.
I had nothing but trouble getting a match price refund after finding a TV that sold locally for less. Department manager would not even speak to me. Afer contacting the store manager I was able to resolve this matter. |

I am unbelievably upset with Sears.com. I ordered a lanwmower from them on May 25th, they advertised free shiping...wow, sounded great! After giving my billing information I received notice that the product shipped out on May 26th and I should receive it in 2 or 3 days. It is now June 1st at 4:30 pm and UPS has not received the package. First phone call to Sears.com I was told "oops, package didn't ship, they will check into it" and I will hear from them in 2 or 3 business days (standard reply). Email from Sears.com the following day telling me the package did ship but UPS won't let them start an inquiry for 8 to 10 business days. Today I called UPS who said they did not receive the package to contact Sears.com. I figure at this rate, I will be able to mow my lawn (if I'm lucky) once before the snow flies in November.

The service was terrible service and totally disappointing. After spending an hour online trying to order appliances, and speaking to a customer service rep (that was no help at all) I got frustrated and selected the customer help service. They called right away but they did nothing to help me complete the purchase. After an hour on the phone and finally being insulted by the credit guy Eric, I gave up and took by purchase to another online retailer...and saved $200. Too bad they lost a loyal customer.

We ordered an item online - paid for it and received the email that it is ready for pick up. Went to the store and they didn't have the item in stock. We were told we would have to contact sears.com to receive our credit. Called for the credit and was told it would be 7 to 10 business days to get a credit even though they had our money in 5 minutes. Unacceptable! Asked for a manager and was put on hold and then cut off. Called again and left on hold for 10 minutes with no response. Called customer relations and was transferred to the assistant manager at the store that didn't have the item. Nothing he can do...we will get a credit in 7 to 10 days. This is a scam. We will call the main office in Chicago as well as the General Manager of the store. Sears has seen the last of our business. Very poor customer service in such difficult economic times. They better wake up or close up.
