I understand things happen and sometimes there are delays. Some of the products ordered were not in stock, but they do not list if an item is in stock or not on the web site. I found this out only AFTER I placed my order and they had charged me for it. Two items were on back-order. Of the two, I have received one (finally), but the did not provide the shipping I had paid for. I have contacted customer service about these issues and even had an argument with them about what is important to a customer!!! Last time I checked the customer was me, so there should be no argument here AT ALL! They said it wasn't important to let customers know if an item was in stock or not at the time of purchase, and if a customer wanted to know that information they should call. Bottom line: If you can find the item(s) you're looking for elsewhere, please do so and save yourself the time and trouble. I have found another site that has about the same selection and they do list whether or not the item is in stock. I would provide the name, but not sure if it's allowed... don't want to appear to be advertising for anyone (though that is basically what this is about). If you're resourceful the site can be found from the following google search "dive supplies", and look through the sponsored links on the right for L******P**.com

My fins and spring straps had to be returned because they did not fit. The refund was very prompted, but the shipping and return cost were not refunded. So I payed $20.00 for products that I don't have. At that price I could have shopped localy and got the product for the same price. No savings shopping on liner.

I have ordered several items from Scuba.com. Two rash guard T shirts,neither of which were the right size (even though ordered using sizing chart). Those were returned for refund. The camera housing was ordered, but continued to receive delivery delay notices. Final notice was for delivery after I leave for Hawaii. Cancelled the order and ordered from Adorama and item was shipped the next day. Not sure I will order anything else from Scuba.com.

SCUBA.com has the best website of all the dive equipment sites availible. I am looking for a surface float and O2 aanalyser, that I wish they carried. There prices are far better than the competion. SCUBA.com is my first choice when buying scuba equipment.

I regularly buy stuff from scuba.com and am very satisfied with their service. The one difficulty is that items shown on their site may not be available for shipment and may never be available after apparently ordering successfully.

DO NOT USE SCUBA.COM FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING. AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS IS NOT ACCURATELY INDICATED ON WEBSITE. I ordered two masks overnight from Scuba.com, paying for overnight delivery so that I would have them in time for my trip. Both masks were listed as available on their website; however, via email, Scuba.com notified me that they had shipped only one of the masks and that the second mask was not in stock and would be delivered weeks later via standard shipping. I tried canceling the order entirely but the first mask had already been sent. I then asked if they could replace the second mask with a mask that was in stock and ship it separately overnight at no additional cost (like other retailers, such as Amazon.com, do). Scuba.com refused. Their customer service agents were not helpful. They also refused to pay the overnight shipping costs on the first mask if I returned it. I therefore had to pay two overnight shipping costs to get both masks in time for my trip. I have had much more favorable experiences with LeisurePro. |

This was the worst experience I have ever had with an online merchant. They charged my credit card and then notified me that the item I ordered wasn't actually in stock and that I had to pick a similarly priced item. After I chose one, they wouldn't get it to me for 2 1/2 weeks, which was well after the date I had entered to say that I needed it by. Customer service hung up on me when I called them, and they still charged my card after the order was canceled.

This is my second order with scuba.com and they have the very wide selection with most of the items in stock and also have very good prices. The last order was delivered on time without any problems and I think they are the best online scuba retailer. They have free shipping on lot of items. They also allow online order tracking and accept Google checkout which I used to get an extra $10 discount from Google.

Excellent experience, received a phone call from Scuba.com shorty after placing the order and was informed that the product that I had ordered was not in stock. The associate that call me gave me another suggestion and I'm very pleased with the results.

I paid for expedited shipping. They shipped to wrong address costing me precious time and an additional $32+ to overnight to correct address. Scuba.com was unresponsive to my request to pay the overnight costs to correct their (admitted) mistake. Their customer service was rude and unbending. They also were flippant when I requested an escalation point. The customer service "manager" said she worked for "me, myself, and I".
They did not meet their "100% CUSTOMER SAT" commitment and I would not recommend purchasing from them. |

Be careful in dealing with scuba.com/diversdiscount.com. They sold me a mask that based on their webpage description should have fit, but when I received the mask was too small. They told me that I would have to pay a 25% charge to return it. The representative on the phone was not pleasant to deal with. He talked down to me and was arrogant. Luckily I found a dive shop near where I live and dealt with them with good results. Scuba.com/diversdiscount.com was a bad experience. Also they have less in stock than what their web page says.

If speed is of importance to you. Do not shop here. The delivery time was very slow. Took 10 days for a 2nd day air order to arrive. Ahhhhh!
