Disgusting dishonesty of Sahalie

A review by epinionkw written on Jan 2, 2009
Full review
We are another victim of Sahalie Rewards scam.  The company should be boycotted by everyone until they (1) stop the scam, and (2) see to it that victims are refunded the money they inadvertently, and deceptively, were conned into being billed.  We thought Sahalie was a legitimate company. No longer!

Sahalie is an online ordering company.  Apparently, somewhere during the transaction there is a check-box that is checked by default and in the small print it supposedly says unless you UN-check the box you are agreeing to a $14.95 per month charge on your credit card....automatically applied forever!

We have no idea what the 'rewards' are or how much you have to pay in (while Sahalie and the marketing scammers draw interest) before you can get anything, whatever it might be (if there IS anything at the other end)

Sahalie apparently contracted this 'rewards' program out to a marketing outfit in Maryland (not known to the Better Business Bureau, a good indicator right there!).  When you call their number, the Sahalie Rewards person tries to blame it on you, resists giving refunds (except, grudgingly, for the most recent charge), and so on.

There are enough scams going on in our country and it is time to start boycotting dishonest firms, putting them out of business if necessary, so that others learn to deal honestly with customers.
