I have had very positive experience with RRS over the last 5 years. Responsive, good prices & assistance... check here first.

The one drawback I have seen is the spotty quality of some of RRS' own goods. I love their fleece pullover, but their Stamina split shorts all fit differently depending on the color. In addition, their Stamina v-notch shorts consistently fall apart after 6-months (so I don't buy them any more).

Their selection, especially for tough-to-find shoes for tough-to-fit runners is outstanding, but they do not have a great selection for competitive runners (flats, spikes, cross country spikes). Check Eastbay for a better selection of these running needs.

Their customer service is unmatched by any specialty retailer, and they have a very liberal return policy (when you join their Run America Club).

Bottomline: this is a great place to shop, especially for your core running needs. They will fall a little short if you need spikes or flats. Also, beware of their own brands - do not hesitate to send things back if the quality or fit seems to be "off" when you take it out of the box.
