Very easy, I found exactly what I wanted for less than any other merchant. Unlike one company (not camera/video related) the only think I would recommend is that over holidays you inform mail/phone orders orders inform them that Federal Express is a little slow.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I will NEVER purchase a product from here or suggest to anyone to purchase a product from here. I was guarenteed Christmas shipment. I confirmed my order several times while on-line chat with a customer service representative. I had an e-mail confirming my order but yet you didn't place the order. Not only did I no recieve the camera in time for Christmas, your idiotic staff, left a message on my home phone that my son heard. No more Christmas surprise!!!!!! You totally ruined what could have been a wonderful day. I called and wrote several times about my displeasure with my experience and was always told I had the wrong company. I even called. I never even got a sorry or an excuse as to why it was never shipped. I work with people every day and believe me, your company and its bad service have been the topic of conversation ever since and will continue to be. I am very angry and disappointed in your company. Your business practices are unacceptable.

Customer service is poor, I spent hours on the phone on mutiple days to get the order shipped out. When the person in customer service has such poor speaking skills that your have to ask them to repeat every word. I will not use the on line order process again. I wii go to the store or order elsewhere.

This order was ultimately cancelled by me. I was contacted the day after placing the order, by an unknown telephone # identifying themselves as Ritzcamera.com asking for my address and telephone #. When I contacted customer service (in India) I received service from ultimately a supervisor. After correcting the error on the order - I asked them to ship it overnight at no charge. He did not have the authority to do that. I spent an additional 1 hour of my time trying to correct the order - on hold - verifying telephone # etc. - wasting 2 days of ship time and then the supervisor could not authorize the order to be shipped over night. I will advise all others not to do business with Ritzcamera.com. The savings of tax is not worth the aggrevation of dealing with a foreign call center with no authority to do what is right by the customer.

The web-site indicated fast shipping, but the items I purchased did not receive this fast shipping. They came from a different fullfillment location. This added 4 days that I was not anticipating. I think I would rather pay 20% more and get them really fast from Amazon. If I buy from them in the future I will have to remember to plan on 10 - 14 days to receive. I find that a big negative. When I called to check on the status they were not able to offer any information but of the different fullfillment location.

They were very accomodating after I called the home office after returning the camera. My daughter had received 2 of them, and Ritz camera agreed not to charge me the 15% restocking fee. I truly appreciated that and would use this website gain.

Never buy from this place. Total bait and switch. They advertised a sale on a netbook with 10.5 hr. battery and sent out a 3-cell 3 hr. battery Netbook instead. Then they try insist they sent what was ordered. Required 2 phone calls before they shipped it, and I don't know how many more before they take their lemon back

I was sent the wrong item. The correct item was not offered. I said when I returned it I should not be charged a restocking fee or the shipping fee but I was. The customer service number was in a foreign country and there were language problems. Yesterday I finally talked to a supervisor and he said he would refund the restocking charge and shipping charge - I'll see if that happens.

Because I live way over here in Singapore and most shops here always gets their supply from the US. So, I thought I'd take out the 'middleman' from the picture and buy directly from Ritz! Reported falsely to Bing cashback that I had returned or cancelled order, and the Bing reward was cancelled. No one can articulate in english why they did this, they jsut keep referring me to Bing...GEESH!!!!!!!!!
Fortunately, the US economy is great at weeding out customer-unfriendly ripoff joints like this (just ask the good folks at K-mart how the last 20 years have gone for their company)....Enjoy the few measly buck that you shafted me out of Ritz Camera-It will cost you much more in the long run. Confirming the order (originally placed via American Express) was unacceptable. The person hung up on me and was rude. Second and 3rd calls to supervisor were only OK. I did report Ritz Camera to American Express. Item did not work. I wanted to exchange it, but item was then out of stock. I will not shop from Ritz Camera on-line again.

Ritzcamera.com is not part of Ritz Camera. I ordered a Sony Solar light and they sent another brand, Come to find out, they had misposted information on their website. This was a mistake on their end, and they made it extremely difficult to return the item. I will never shop at Ritzcamera.com again because the experience was so awful.

I'm very frustrated by the number of phone calls it took to correct my expiration date on my credit card. This should have been taken care of with the first call when we discovered the problem, but it took 3 additional calls. I'm now expected to receive the camera an entire week after my initial purchase. I attribute this issue to having to speak with representatives that do not speak clear English. They did not understand what I was trying to say, and I couldn't understand what they were saying half the time. They repeated questions they had already asked and got answers for (obviously just reading from a screen with no real comprehension of what they were doing). It got very, very frustrating.
I suggest you go with American phone answering companies instead of going over seas. You're keeping our economy from working like it should and your're frustrating the daylights out of your customers. I've purchased other cameras from Ritz before. I've always been satisfied with my products, but after this experience, I'm not sure I'll purchase from you again. It was not worth the aggravation.

I tried to purchase a Nikon D5000 camera. After 3 days I called to find out if the camera was going to be shipped, and was told within 24 hours, this kept happening for the next 3 days, each time, I was told the camera would ship within 24 hours. At one point, the rep told me that if I ordered one more item, the camera would ship within 24 hours. I finally cancelled my order, and sent an e-mail to AAFES explaining the issue, with a recommendation that they take Ritz off of their order process.
I would not buy from this company, especially if you need a product shipped to an APO address.

I have had nothing but problems ordering from Ritz Camera.com and their foreign customer service. Their customer service does not comprehend things well and their website ordering does not work well. I wish that I would have google searched complaints prior to ordering. I ordered a lens a month ago with a $250 gift certificate. I shortly receieved an email that the shipping information was not correct. I fixed this - even though there never was a problem. A day later, they said that my credit card number was incorrect. We finally got the order done and they didn't credit my gift cert and charged me the full amount! I just called and talked with the customer service again and they now say that I have $0 on my gift cert! They are escalating, but I am very frustrated. |

I am very pleased with the service of Ritz Camera. Their service on the phone was great and my new lens arrived before I expected. I am thrilled with the quality of the Quantaray lens. It was made in Japan and comes with a limited 5 year warrenty. I have only had the lens for a few days, but so far it is all positive. Thank you for good service and an outstanding product.

Recieved an oviously used and batter sppedlight, in a batter box. Light was unwrapped and loose and flopping around in the box, and missing part. Was shocked that they dared send me such junk. Had to return it, and they sent me another one. The replacement was also obviously used becuase the original wrappers had all been opened before. It was in better shape, so I decided to keep it, but I will NEVER buy from Ritz again.

Delivery was very fast compared to the first time that I purchased from Ritz Camera. Each time their delivery and packing of their products has become better and better. I would definitely rate their service as excellent. If there was something in my order that could possibly leak, such as ink it was inside a plastic bag. Repeated attempts to cancel the order failed even though product hadn't shipped yet. Product wasn't shipped until almost 3 weeks after order was placed. Ritz camera finally got the shipment turned around on the day it was to be delivered to me. I never received the product and still got charged shipping. Their customer service is totally incompetent. I would never order from Ritz again.
