We ordered a Wedgwood bone product from this company. When it arrived, we immediately noticed the cup was not the correct weight, height, thickness, and finish.
If you have purchased from them recently I recommend confirming the product is legit by going to the original manufacturer website and comparing the logo.
We turned it over and the logo was incorrect - it had "Wedg Wood" vs. "Wedgwood" and also did not have the Wedgwood "W" logo. Not even a good knockoff.
When we called replacements we gave them the benefit of the doubt, that they had been duped into selling knockoffs.
Not only was the response hostile, but they tried to convince us the Wedgwood logo had recently changed. (Note: The current official website http://www.wedgwoodusa.com/index.asp displays the original logo as we have it on all our other products)
In fact the rep for Replacements Ltd's actual words were "Wedgewood changes their logo often so they know which year the product was produced in". Anyone who knows anything about branding would find the idea that a company with over 100 years of brand-equity doing this, simply laughable. This was one of the most entertaining explanations we have heard for a knockoff though.
The effort put into their rather creative explanation though does unfortunately lead me to believe they are aware they sold us a knockoff, and that they are making efforts to conceal that fact.
