Terrible in every way

I placed an order a week before Christmas, for a xmas gift for my elderly, out of state, mom. I ordered the Therapeutic slippers and chose not to have them monogrammed (to save time and get them shipped right away, so she would have them before Christmas). I ordered the guaranteed 2 day delivery, so the gift would arrive there in plenty of time for christmas. I checked the order daily on the website and it remained for 5 days in "preparing to ship' status. I finally called ( it was 2 days before Christmas now) and they told me the item was now backordered and would not be available until May! So much for my mom getting a christmas gift from me in time for christmas! What bothers me most is I would not have found this out if I hadnt called them! At this point it was too late to have anything shipped to arrive before christmas. I asked to speak to customer service and they only wanted me to buy something else. Since I couldnt get it shipped in time, and frankly, wasnt comfortable with their understanding of their own inventory, I declined. I went up the chain to speak to someone else and and they only said "we are sorry you are disappointed, have a nice holiday" Very bad customer service. Terrible business model, they dont know they are out of stock of an item until 5 days after its been ordered! They make promises to ship things in certain periods of time and dont honor them. They will be out of business very SOON. Dont waste your money here.
