While visiting redEnvelope.com, I came across the perfect birthday gift for my boyfriend, who is living overseas. The "Dual Time Clock" I found had two engrave-able doors (with picture frames inside) which open to reveal two small clocks, one of them functioning as an alarm clock. I chose to engrave our first initials on each of the doors, and I also chose to have it packaged in a gift box. I had the item sent to me so that I could personalize it a bit before sending it on to him.

The package came relatively quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. The gift box was high quality and red in color. The company name, redEnvelope, was embossed in a corner (not overly noticeable). A cream colored ribbon was tied perfectly around the box.

The clock itself came in another small box, which my boyfriend described as looking like a "cologne box". The box was simple and tasteful. The clock was much better than I had even anticipated after looking at the picture on the website. It was rather weighty, and well made. The doors were engraved just as I had ordered.

Even the invoice was tastefully done. It came in a cream colored envelope with a story about red envelopes in Asian tradition printed on the front. This is a company that pays close attention to detail and quality. Both my boyfriend and I were thrilled with the product I ordered.
