STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD OR TELEPHONE!!!! If you're thinking of buying from RAINBOW APPLIANCE, DON'T DO IT!!!
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!! I bought a GE clothes washer from this SHADY OPERATION, and the machine was a lemon. It didn't work from the beginning! But Rainbow won't take it back, instead they want me to have GE fix it under warranty. This is how Rainbow and their Wholesaler Intercounty unload their defective inventory on the public to fix for them! But they want you to pay the price they want for a new machine. I wanted a new machine that worked, not a lemon and then have it fixed at my expense! Don't be duped by their low price! I have spent more time and money trying to deal with these people than the machine is worth, and it's not over yet! If they deal with even a quarter of the people like they have dealt with me they won't be in business long. Stop right here! DON'T DO IT!!! |

Product was damaged during shipment. Rainbow was contacted 11/29/07 for a credit or new product. Rainbow requested photos of the damage. Photos were sent to Rainbow via email on 12/05/07. No response from Rainbow. During Jan 2008 we contact person in charge, Eli of Rainbow. Said he would look into it and call back. As of today 2/20/08 we have not received any credit, email or phone calls from Rainbow. Would never buy another product from this company or refer this company to anyone else.

I had difficulty in confirming my order and delivery, but I was contacted shortly after leaving my message and everything was handled appropriately and in a timely fashion. I received the email confirmation shortly after just like I was told. I was very pleased with the customer service I received and will more than likely shop with Rainbow Appliances again in the near future.

We ordered 2 refrigerators, one of which was damaged when delivered. Rainbow asked for photos, which were provided. But since then they have done nothing to resolve the issue. They refuse to replace the damaged item and it is impossible to speak to anyone of any authority.
Be very careful when ordering from this company. |

I was told that my oven would arrive on the 24th and that I could call in the morning to find out when it would be delivered. I called and the driver knew nothing about my delivery. I called the store at 9:30am and got voicemail. I called again at 10:45 and was told they would look into it. They called me back at 11:30 and said it was scheduled and to call the driver. I did and the driver still knew nothing. Finally they said it would arrive between 1-3. At 1:15 they finally returned my first call. At 1:30 they called my house to ask for directions. At 2:30 they called again and said it would be delivered between 4-5. They finally arrived at 6pm. I made and received a total of 15 phone calls. Meanwhile my daughter had to spend the entire day at home waiting. I will never shop with them again.

Really bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Terrible customer service, no replies to email, operators who tell you how to proceed and then when you do more work to get them to deal with their problem, they don't follow up...Long story short, microwave came bent (door wouldn't close, etc.)...Got suckered by low price like everyone else...They finally got UPS to pick it up (of course I had to hang out for them to show up...2 days after they were supposed to show up...then 1 month and several more contacts later...no microwave replacement, no $, no contact, just bs...and frustration...Finally...had to go to the credit card company to get my money over 2 months later...Never buy from these flakes!

This was a really good transaction. It was delivered right on time for Christmas. I had a small problem with a damaged door (no fault of Rainbow Appliance) and it was resolved very quickly. UPS was alittle rough with the product in transit. I thought the customer satisfaction was great. Eli was very helpful and had detailed instructions on how to get it resolved. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. Thank you for the smooth experience of purchasing a microwave oven.

I ordered a GE Profile Microwave model number PEB1590 on 1/8/08 and received delivery on 1/11/08. I couldn't be more pleased with the speed of delivery. The box was packed within another box and thus there was no damage to the microwave. The saleslady I talked to was very helpful and informative and I received exactly what I ordered. I am very satisfied with the whole transaction and would definitely tell anyone to not hesitate to deal with Rainbow Appliance.

I was very pleased with rainbow appliance. Small glitch with delivery which was not rainbow's direct fault but they did everything they could to make amends by offering free service plan... that makes for excellent customer service and I would definitely order from them again. Product was exactly what ordered and works great!- I also researched many sites and local stores for best overall price and rainbow had it!

To Whom it may Concern, Well, I must say Rainbow Appliance has made me a believer customers are still important to their businesses. I have been on EBAY for a few years and encountered one extremely bad transaction and it was not payment issue or price but delivery time. This particular business owner became personal stating I was ignorant. This is a business that was paid in full and when I questioned the product arrival time I was ignorant not my payment. WOW! Like anyone, you pay for a product then expect a reasonable delivery time. That incident really made me question whether to continue shopping on line. Rainbow Appliance responded with and accurate description of the product price and delivered the item on time. That is all any customers. I look forward to future business with Rainbow Appliance. In my dealings with Rainbow Appliance my customer representative was very polite, gave me his name, and told me not to hesitate to contact him should I have any questions or concerns, as a customer I felt very comfortable. Unlike other on line dealers, they had my appliance in stock, the unit was picked up for shipping within 24 hours, I was given a tracking # and I had the fun of watching it arrive as quoted. All in all a positive transaction.

Horrible experience. They were quick to take the money, but then took weeks before shipping the product. They promised a delivery date 5 times before they actually shipped the machines - then claimed they were damaged in shipment. The extended warranties where not shipped at the same time but weeks after delivery. Even then, they did not send the right ones. I could only use one of the two sent. They have thus far (2/12/08) not refunded me the charge for the unusable warranty.
Pretty much everything they have said has turned out to be a lie, even when it would not have hurt them to tell the truth. BEWARE! |

The service was unbelievable. This was the first time I used Rainbow. I placed the order for 2 air condtioners
on Friday afteernoon. I called the service rep to confirm the delivery charges (very reasonable)The same afternoon I received a call to confirm that my order would be delivered on Saturday AM. I could not beleive it when the Driver called me at 8:30 AM Saturday (the truck was in my driveway when he called)The driver and his helper were very nice as they placed the units in my garage. As the service was so outstanding (as was the price of the units) I plan to use them again for a refrigerator. |
