I was looking for a Bosch PGL985UC 36" gas cooktop. After searching several online comparison shopping engines, I noticed three sellers who had the cooktop at a similar discount. Rainbow Appliance had the best price (but only by a few dollars) and good online ratings. Locally, the item cost over $100 more (even with the retail store's "instant rebate") and sales tax would add another $75 or so. I considered the two other online dealers, one because it has been around longer and I've done business with that company before with no complaints. Availability was a problem with that outfit and shipping costs were pretty steep with the other. Rainbow Appliance had the item I wanted ready to ship and the shipping rate was quite reasonable; in fact, so reasonable that I questioned the accuracy of the info on the web page. I called to confirm availability and the shipping rate. The rep was very polite and helpful and verified both the availablity and shipping rate. Online ordering was easy due to good website design. Shipping cost, as I mentioned, was very reasonable and delivery was quick. I really couldn't ask for more. I cannot comment on their response to problems because I didn't encounter any.
