Easy to navigate website. Reliable and proven service. Only gripe is in the method to calculate some shipping items (particularly as I am overseas). I say this as I adding a pair of socks to my order had the run on effect of increasing the postage by over $20USD... I like the selection of product lines and especially the REI brand products. The website is easy to navigate, and the sales and specials for members are great. Unfortunately no store near me for hundreds of miles. The feed back from other costomers was very important in my decision of what to purchase. The on line shopping was easy to follow. My last order came general shipping and arrived 2 days early. So far my rating of shopping with REI is a 5 out of a possible 5.  I would shop here again	Overall Rating:

I ordered on-line and wanted overnight shipping. When the computer kept making it 2-day shipping I called customer service to inquire. The operator was professional, pleasant and more knowledgable than I in that the shipping was delayed due to a holiday I had totally forgotten about! All worked out just fine. First time for me at their website. My son is living in ALaska and requested an REI gift card for his birthday gift, so he could shopt the REI in Anchorage. He was tickled pink to get the gift card in plenty of time to "spend it" for his birthday purchase (snow shoes). From his Midwest Mom, I am very happy that this all worked out okay. Overall it was easier to search and compare products than some of the other sites I visited, and I was also able to find pretty much everything I was looking for (aside from some specific equipment) at REI.com, as opposed to the hit-and-miss selection of other sites.
