Got what I wanted. Prices on the high side. I like the wide selection available both online and in your pleasant hill store. For me time is money. So to wait in line just to pick something up is about a sd minute errand. But if I plan a trip to rei or need something last minute, I love going to the store. Actually it's addicting. I love maps, camping gear, and looking at the GPS handhelds which I am thinking about bhuying.

I really like REI, we have been members for years. I had a large order from REI Outlet that was stopped because I entered the wrong experation date for the credit card I used. Someone called, the date was corrected, only they did not make the change. I lost the order. They sent me a 20% of coupon, but the items I ordered were 30 to 60% off and by the time I found out the order was rejected again they were no longer available.

Picking up the tent at the store took less than five minutes which was much less time than it took the 2 fumble fingered buyers to put it up once they got it home

I always do ship to store in NC, but now that I live in Kansas City MO i Have to have the items shipped to me since the closest store is 4 hours away in St Louis.

The overall shopping experience was excellent. I was able to return some items by simply having the REI staff look up my account. I didn't know about this feature. Suggestion: Increase the photos available for online ordering. Need to see front and back minimally. Interior and special feature pictures would have helped with the selection process and reduce need to return items to the store.

The web site is excellent. There's a wide selection of merchandise, and each item is described and pictured very well. Love the user reviews, too. The ordering process is simple. Everything is just the way I like it.

I love REI service and products. I have a small sailboat which requires that I get wet to launch and sail the boat. The products cover me so I don't get burned, are stylish, and dry quickly when wet. My husband sometimes goes with me and although he stays on shore, is cool and comfortable under the shade of the tree. We wish we had an REI store in Oklahoma City.
