My husband and I take several different supplements for our health, as well as daily vitamin and minerals. I was fed up with the high prices that are charged for supplements these days, and when I heard about Puritan's Pride from a friend who's opinion I highly respected, I gave them a try.

Now I get their catalogs in the mail, as well as email offers when they are having super specials, so I never miss out on the best bargains they offer ... and they are HUGE bargains!

To show you how much can be saved at Puritans Pride, let me give you just one example, and you should be convinced! I take a supplement called MSM for my allergies, and starting in February I take 2000 mg of it every day. The last time I purchased MSM at a retail store, it was from a GNC store in our local mall. I paid $20 for a 120 count bottle of 1500mg MSM. When I ordered it last through Puritan's Pride, they had a "Buy 1 Get 2 Free" offer, and I paid $7.80 for an equivalent bottle of MSM.

Between my husband and myself, we regularly buy 81 mg of aspirin, St. John Wart, B Complex vitamins, Vitamin E, and a few others. I didn't realize until recently that "PP" sold the low dose aspirin! I will be buying it there from now on.

PP is a company that have been around since 1960, and they have fantastic customer service. We live in Alaska, and the last time they had a $1 shipping offer, it was even good in Alaska. That is almost unheard of. Even when their shipping isn't discounted, it is very minimal, and the products are sent out by priority mail, I believe the same day, because I get my orders in about three days!!

Their catalog is nice because it has an index in the back that helps you to quickly find a product. The same with their online site, the search engine is very efficient and accurate, and it's easy to find what you are looking for.

My catalog says that they carry more than 1,400 "top quality products". While they do carry other common brand names, I have found that their own formulations, sold under the "Puritan's Pride" name are the cheapest, and they are just as good. It just doesn't make sense to pay more.

I don't think there has ever been a vitamin or supplement that I wanted that they didn't carry. They also sell creams, lotions, protein powders, homeopathy remedies, aromatherapy oils, deodorants, foot care products, lip balms, denture adhesives, shampoo, anti-aging products, etc, etc, etc. They have it all. And there is always a nice description of each product in their catalog, so it helps take the guesswork out of ordering.

If you have trouble swallowing pills, no problem. They actually have a "Size Guide" that shows you the actual size of their tablets, capsules, and softgels. Each one has a code, the tablets are labeled T1-T10, capsules C11-C14, and the softgels S15-S23.

The normal shipping fee is only $3.95, no matter how much you order or how much it weighs! If you go over $100 in merchandise, shipping is free. But they often have free shipping offers, like the one I recently took advantage of that cost me only $1 for an entire box of products!

Whenever I have a question, I have found their customer service reps - which are just a toll free phone call away, to be extremely polite and helpful. I can see why Puritan's Pride is the number one rated catalog/internet supplement merchant, (for the second year in a row), based on customer satisfaction surveys conducted by ConsumerLab.com.

If you are spending too much money on your supplements, you might want to check out what Puritan's Pride has to offer. Of course, you may want to check with your Dr. before going off on some health kick and ordering a bunch of new products. But if you are already buying and using certain supplements and vitamins, I bet Puritan's Pride can beat any price that you are now paying, and from my experience I don't believe you will be sacrificing quality.

If I could rate Puritan's Pride more than 5 stars, I would.
