The web sight was very informative, quick and easy to use and I found the product that would suit my needs and it was also on sale. I received it promptly and I really like it.

I purchase an Eliptical Machine from the Proform website. It arrived in the 7-10 business day timeframe as expected. When I unboxed the item and began assembling it, I noticed that the left side bushing of the frame was damaged and would not allow the axel to pass through as designed. When I called customer service, they told me that because the frame portion was damaged, it was an unserviceable part and the whole machine would have to be replaced. Naturally I was shocked that I would have to unassemble and rebox this monstrosity in order to have the freight carrier pick it back up all over a $5.00 bushing. After hanging up, I decided to call customer service back to see if maybe I would get a different answer and it would be handled reasonably. The next service rep gave me the same answer so I asked to speak to a Manager. After speaking with the Manager, it was discovered that the part in question was indeed serviceable and that it could be replaced. When I inquired if they would please send it overnight or 2-day they declined my request and stated that it would go Ground with a projected 7-10 day arrival time. Now I had just saved this company probably $150.00 to $300.00 in shipping costs with my persistence. And they couldn't spend $20.00 or so to make me and 'mainly my wife' happy by expediting the shipment of the only piece necessary to complete my project and start using their product. It seems to me they couldn't care less whether my calling back had saved them any money and, more importantly, myself more aggravation. This is so typical of how large companies operate today and it really doesn't surprise me. This is what happens when companies are run by policy and not common sense.

Overall Good. Calling and emailing the company was difficult--I still have not recieved a response to my online submission regarding shipping times (that was about 1 month ago)...calling into the 800# was a poor experience. Took a long time to get someone live on the phone..tried twice and gave up after 7-10 minutes on hold. Ordering and shippment were good. Product was good but needed some manual adjustments (the neck piece and the holes for the 3 bolts did not align so I had to re-drill the holes to allow assembly). Just had to make the holes a little bigger and move slightly to allow the openings and the threads on the neck unit to align to allow for the screws to work.

The Stationary Byke GR75 was in good condition and received on time (UPS). I haven't received the elliptical FX5 (DATSTRUCKING). Neither the carrier, nor ProForm didn't care to find out what the problem was, everytime I called they sent me to the other party unttil I contacted the shipping dept in Proform (17 minute avg wait) and told me that it was lost. They are sending the item after 15 working days (WD) and should be with me in less than 10 more WD.

I have already recommended Proform to friends and family. The website was easy to use and gave me all the information I needed to make my decision. I was extremely satisfied with how quickly I received my product, although I was not thrilled with the delivery guy from DATS. But that would not stop me from ordering again.

When ordered it stated product was "in stock". Three weeks later it still has not shipped. I had to contact Proform and inquire about the delay. They stated product is not in stock and they do not know when it will be. They stated I can call a 1-800 number and change my order if I want. So, given Proforms customer service I would rate them as "DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY".

Totally frustrating experience. There is no automatic sales notification, so you are in the dark in regard to status. Very difficult to talk to a human on the phone. Very unresponsive.

Biggest frustration was not being able to contact a sales rep to answer questions. Phone service was spotty, and when I finally did get a rep, he recommended a different model to fit our needs, which wasn't even on the website. Before we could get enough info, we were cut off again. Terrible phone service! The opposite of helpful was truly the case.

Had to have a board replaced that was damaged in shipping. It took 7 days to receive it which was too long. I also purchased a proform eliptical machine a few months ago, which is doing fine.

My only problem with ordering on Proform's site is the fact that it doesn't have overnight shipping or anything other than ground shipping (which is very unsatisfying). Adding overnight shipping and additional shipping options would greatly increase my comfort and satisfaction with ordering on your Website.

I had a couple of problems with the elliptical I ordered. They shipping company that deliver the machine had me waiting all day from 8 am to 5pm, and never deliver the machine the day they said they would. I had to call them, because nobody call me to tell me they where not coming. The next day they deliver the machine without calling me to see if any body was going to be home to receive the machine. Second problem, after I had the machine assemble the console was not working properly. I received another console and it still wasnt working properly. I had to contact customer service again, and they told me it wasnt the console it was the reed. So now I had to wait for them to send me the part and now I'm waiting for a tech. to come and service the machine, which isnt going to be until Aug 14, so that will make 5 weeks, I havent been able to use the machine since I had it assemble. If it wasnt so much a hassle I would've returned the machine back long time. Next time I going to just order my work out machine from a local store.

The only thing I wasn't happy about is the way the item was shipped, locally, to me. It was on an 18 wheel truck which was over the weight limit for where I live. We had to meet the truck driver (not his fault) on the main highway, away from my home, have the treadmill put into our SUV and we had to drive it home. I would think that the item could have been delivered in a smaller vehicle and delivered to my home as promised.
