Terrible experience with delivery and customer service

My husband ordered two dozen roses (on behalf of my baby)from ProFlowers.com for my first Mother's Day last week. His company had a corporate discount with the merchant so he called them up for the order. ProFlowers.com took down the wrong address on the phone which resulted in UPS unable to deliver the flowers the Friday before Mother's Day. Since they were a perishable item, I had to go pick them up Friday night at the local UPS location. And probably because it was the Friday before Mothers Day and UPS doesn't work on the weekend, the line was out the door. I was on line for almost 2 HOURS before picking up the flowers. What a Mother's Day gift! And when I brought the roses home, I notice that they aren't even fresh!!! When my husband called ProFlowers.com this week to complain, the customer service people were less than friendly. They said the address they have on record is what it is and they were not apologetic about it. And when my husband said that he will not be using them anymore, they said that's fine with them.

THEY GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD DATA!

THEY GAVE MY CREDIT CARD DATA TO EMI EASYSAVER. Now I am geting charges on my credit card from a rip-off company.
I bought my flowers from proflowers.com, and the charge was there along with a 1$ charge from EMI easysavers. This is a well known rip-off discount company, that just keeps applying charges to your card without authrization.
I'm fighting this with the banks as a fraudulent charge.
Proflowers.com Privacy statement is a Joke. DO not shop @ Proflowers.com

I ordered flowers for my wife over 2 weeks in advance of Valentine's and paid extra for shipping + guaranteed delivery. Guess what, the flowers never came. Not only would ProFlowers not admit their fault, it took me weeks to get a refund out of them. They kept wanting to offer me a complementary budget package with no refund. NO REFUND WHEN I PAID FOR SOMETHING THAT NEVER CAME??? This company is ludicrous.

The last flowers (tulips) I sent were on the verge of death when they arrived. I received flowers (roses) from them, and they too were HALF DEAD. Don't waste your money here....the flowers I buy at the grocery store for $5.99 outlast these flowers by well over a week.

The Worst On-Line Experience Ever.

OMYGOD. Where to start?? How about with the worst processes and backoffice systems I have ever encountered. My first grader could dram something up better than these total clowns. Incomplete order, lost order, double billed order. You name it. The incompetence is amazing. Stick with your local florist and pay a few bucks more. You will not regret it.

Complete Satisfaction!! I ordered some flowers on Valentine's Day for my wife and the flowers were delivered on a timely matter. Proflowers.com offer a great promotion price on flower if you order like a week or two in advance. The flowers is so FRESH that it lasted a little more than two weeks. I would definitely order from them again.

Unusual flowers at great prices, timely shipments

I decided to shop at Proflowers since it was a sponsored merchant on a website. I found the most wonderful bamboo plant for Valentine's Day. I kept shopping there for unique flowers settings. I have always chosen the plants and potted flowers over cut flowers. All my shipments arrived on time and the recipients were so surprised by the uniqueness of their gifts! One time I mistyped the delivery address and I called customer support. The man spoke English, understood the problem and got it corrected so that the item was delivered correctly. Phew! I have never had an unpleasant experience shopping at Proflowers.com. The prices are nice and I really like being able to choose more unusual lasting arrangements that stun my recipients. I appreciated the emails I received telling me when my gift was delivered.

Never had a problem with Proflowers.com or any of its affiliates- uptown prime, cherry moon farms or secret spoon. Customer service is outstanding! Products stand up to the promises! Never been disappointed. OTHER COMPANIES charged me for 2 dozen roses & delivered 2 dozen carnations! I will always recommend Proflowers.com!

ordered tulips for delivery to Connecticut address. web site was down, but reached customer service by phone after 10 minute hold. arranged for delivery the day before valentine's day. when i checked tracking, found that the flowers were shipped from a location near philadelphia via ups, which reported "misrouted" package and delivery delayed till following day. flowers arrived wilted and did not recoup after placed in water. no response from email to customer service asking for refund under proflowers guarantee. probably not a good bet for good quality flowers if delivery during winter cold (or summer heat) is coming from two states away.

I ordered a $50 bouquet online and paid an extra fee of $14.99 to have it delivered on Valentine's day. After receiving my bill, I found there was another miscellaneous "service fee" added to my bill for $11.99! WHATEVER. So now I have a nominal bouquet of flowers arriving for almost $80. Next time I'll just do it myself. I think Proflowers is sneaky to add fees like that.

I order 24 roses for Valentines 3 weeks in advance and the roses never arrived. Of course my wife thought I didn't send anything. Proflowers offered no explanation or anything. They said "sorry", you'll get your money back in 7 days. Very unprofessional customer service and unreliable.

Fair selection, easy ordering, but you cannot rely on delivery, which is ultimately the reason you go to Proflowers.com. Once you place your order you are on your own. You can check the status online, and Proflowers links to the UPS site for deliver status. Unfortunately, if you place your order on the 3rd of February and select flexible delivery for the 13,14 of February – The UPS site will indicate “billing information received” on the 12th, and then you’re stuck.

You’re email will go unanswered, and since Proflowers never charged your credit card, they is no ‘guarantee’ issues. This is the second time this has happened – so Proflowers is officially off my list.

These people are terrible. I ordered from them for Valentines day's 2 years in a row and neither time did they ship on time.
They did send out replacements last year, which arrived a week after Valentine's day, and they were huge, beautiful and lasted for weeks. So this year I decided to give them a second chance, and ordered almost a month in advance. On the big day I checked my order and they had substituted purple carnations for my 18 Red Roses. Those did not arrive either, but they offered to send out replacement roses for the next day. Both the roses and the other stuff arrived the following day. The roses had no water on them and were all dried out. The "3 dozen carnations " turned out to be 5 pink roses with some asters and greenery...hardly 3 dozen purple carnations.

To their credit, they did refund all of my money, but that was not the point. I wanted the beautiful flowers they promised and got late delivery and in one case poor flowers.

It's Valantine's Day 7PM, and no flowers, no help from Proflowers. from now on, i will always use a local florist - areal person i can trust - not a an internet entity that now it's there to tke your money, now it's not to deliver on it's promises.

VALENTINES DISASTER

Ordered roses for wife on Valentines Day 2007 from ProFlowers. Big mistake. This was the first time I used ProFlowers. Previously I always used 1800Flowers with excellent results. However, this time I opted to use ProFlowers as I liked their vase and arrangement. The roses were shipped via UPS. By logging on to UPS I noticed the package was out for delivery at 5:00 am; they arrived at my home at 7:00 pm; 14 hours on a UPS truck. They were starting to wilt, but even worse, they were brown! I was totally embarrassed. In the past, when using 1800Flowers, they tell you if your flowers will be delivered by a local florist or if they are using a delivery service such as UPS or FedEx. But ProFlowers gave no such indication. Do yourself a favor and avoid embarrassment, don't use ProFlowers. They are not Pro's. Just read how many other opinions say the same thing..."delivered wilted and brown roses, or didn't deliver at all". Thank God I had them delivered to our home and not to her office. Imagine how embarrassed she would have been.

They failed to deliver a Valentine's order on Valentine's day, chalking it up to 'Weather Problems.' While I can understand weather problems, there is no excuse for them not contacting the customer and telling them they will have a delay, and then trying to make it right.

This company deserves to go out of business if this is what they consider to be 'service.' I hope they are enjoying their Valentine's day!

Broken Vase delivered

It was delivered on time on the Valentine's day. I don't know the condition of the flowers yet. However, I just got a phone call from my girlfriend saying that she received it but the vase is broken into hundred pieces. I specifically ordered the vase since my gf doesn't have a vase to put in at her office. I just sent an email asking for refund.

I received flowers from proflowers.com and was shocked by the condition they arrived in. The flowers had brown spots on them, some of the color was missing, and one was broken. After putting them in the vase they don't look anything like the picture on the website.

I've gotten flowers from them before and have had an OK experience, but this time was terrible. They can't expect the flowers to be delivered in perfect shape when it's -5 degrees F outside, but they say that the flowers will be fresh.

I called customer service, explained the problem, and they will be shipping me a new set of flowers.

You're better off going with a local florist.

I ordered flowers to be delivered about a week in advance of valentines day. Not only did they not deliver the flowers, they offered no explanation. They simply "did not know" and "things like this happen." They offered redelivery 2 days late, which I reluctantly accepted. 2 days later, still no flowers. I still don't know what's going on. DON'T SHOP HERE.

My order was never delivered and I am still waiting on the refund. They offered no explanation as to why they never even attempted to deliver the product or apology, even when I asked for both. I even got a form email thanking me for cancelling the order!
I tried to order a nice plant for my ill father who was in the hospital. A week after the delivery was supposed to occur, and daily calls and emails to customer service, I finally threw in the towel. Noone cared or even tried to act like they cared. I understand I am just one small customer in their long line of orders, but this was seriously the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They even tried to tell me they would deliver "something" to my father, but when questioned on what they were going to deliver - several days after the due date, they could not provide an answer. I had spent $100 on the item and they acted like they were going to send whatever was hanging out in the back room of some florist shop. I was appalled.

Proflowers maybe selling your email address

I purchased flowers two years ago from proflowers and used an email address with my initials and the word "proflowers" in it - i.e., "meproflowers@myweb.com" - I just recently started receiving all kinds of junk email (from senders other than proflowers) to that email address - Thankfully I can just block them - but the point is that proflowers is either selling its customers' email addresses, or its database of customer email addresses has been compromised from the outside or by an employee on the inside. I called proflowers and complained but they were uninterested. Given their attitude about the problem I'd say they are part of the spam mail problem.

Fabulous service, fast delivery, beautiful fresh flowers

Proflowers is easy to use and allows you to send and receive some of the freshest flowers on the internet. Delivery is fast - next day for most bouquets and its customer service is fantastic.

I ordered flowers for my sister in law and accidentally entered the wrong zip code. When I called the next day with the correct zip code, they were able to re-route the order that same day and the flowers were delivered on time as scheduled.

Proflowers are absolutely beautiful. They arrive in a lovely box, wrapped in green paper. Vases are packaged separately and you have to arrange your own flowers. However, in exchange for arranging your own flowers, you get ultra fresh flowers that last all week long.

I have both sent and received Proflowers and have never been disappointed in the results.

I have ordered from Proflowers at least a dozen times. Every time the flowers were delivered on time and were beautiful. I've never once had a problem with them & would recommend them to anyone. Their site is extremely easy to use. I've always paid by Visa or Mastercard, but I think they take every major credit card. You can even pay by check or money order through the mail. Another reviewer stated that he was upset that he had to pay more for a Friday delivery. I have never seen anything like that on their sight, but I do know that you have to pay $4.99 extra to guarantee delivery in the morning or $9.99 extra for Saturday delivery. But, I think that's pretty standard no matter whom you order flowers from. Proflowers does frequently offer free shipping on certain bouquets, so if you are really concerned about delivery fees, you can choose one with free delivery. As I previously stated, I would happily recommend Proflowers to anyone. In my experience, they are FAR better than FTD.

Perfect flowers...to send to your worst enemy

For Valentine's Day, I ordered a dozen roses. On their Web site, the roses look so red and big and beautiful.

What did I get? I kid you not--twelve stems with browning, closed buds and dead leaves. They were wrapped in thin cardboard paper, soaking with water. And worst of all, they were crawling with bugs!

Needless to say, what should have been a wonderful experience turned into a nightmare. When they say "direct from the fields", they're not kidding--you get the flowers, the bugs and the disease!

I've learned my lesson--I'm going to my local florist or a company like 1-800-Flowers (Based on the 'designer flowers' I've ordered from them, they seem to have much better quality control).

I end up sending a lot of flowers: birthdays, mother's day, thank you. Proflowers is my go to source for flowers, especially last minute flowers. The website allows you to view the selection of flowers available for delivery in short time frames, including the same day and the next day. The prices are also quite good, especially on their selected items. For very special occasions, or when impressive quality is important, I tend to use other sources, most often local florists, but day in and day out, I get consistent flowers and on time delivery with ease of ordering second to none from ProFlowers.
