NEVER AGAIN

I also got slammed by the easy saver scam. I have ordered from proflowers.com for a few years with never a problem. Their deceptive practice by enrolling me in the easy saver scam and (without authorization) charging my credit card for a $10 discount on a future order caused them to lose a customer permanently. After you order, your credit card will be charged $1.95 by Encore Marketing, then $14.95 every month for the "privilege" of being in the Easy Saver Rewards Program, oh, and saving $10 on a future proflowers order.

I checked the fine print before doing it (didn't see any reference to a one time or monthly charge) and am not one to typically get slammed like this. I will use someone else for flowers from now on. It's too bad really, because their flowers were always well presented and made the wife happy.

Sympathy in a box

I was horrified when I saw an email from ProFlowers indicating my order had been successfully delivered by FedEx. A close family friend passed away and since I was out of town and unable to attend the funeral I thought it would be nice gesture to send flowers to the family home. I had no idea ProFlowers doesn't utilize a local florist like FTD and some of the others. The box was delivered on time, but since nobody was home it was left out in the rain and 35 degree weather. This not a way to convey sympathy in the death of a loved one. ProFlowers needs to make their delivery methods more apparent on their website.

DO NOT USE PROFLOWERS. I ordered flowers to be delivered one day before but they were not delivered. I got a call from Florist Express at 7pm the day they were supposed to deliver that they did not have the flowers (but of course it was too late). BUT... when you select the next day delivery on PROFLOWERS.COM, they actually take you to a different flower selection that they GUARANTEE is available. SO... what can I say, PROFLOWERS.COM and FLORIST EXPRESS failed to deliver in more than one way and I am in the dog house. I called and talked to a supervisor named BURT and he tried to make light of the situation as if it happened quite regularly. He offered to deliver today (Monday, 3 days later) and I just asked for my money back. They did not even offer any compensation for their incompetence. DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE. Choose another florist. I certainly will from now on. Remember, DO NOT CHOOSE PROFLOWERS.com OR Florist Express.

ProFlowers.com does not honor or reply to unsubscribe requests, and continue to spam me with "Helpful" reminder emails weekly, even after unsubscribing multiple times and having no "reminders" on file at their Web site.

pro flowers shares credit card info - slammed for $14.95 membership

PRO FLOWERS SHARES CREDIT CARD INFO WITH ANOTHER MERCHANT!!

I got my wife some flowers for Valentines Day. The Flowers were ok, but didn't last too long.

I purchased from proflowers and got slammed by easy saver.

What a shame. I liked proflowers but will never order from them again. If there was fine print somewhere, I don't remember it. If they managed to HIDE a signup in a coupon (don't remember) it is still dishonest, and they still shared my credit card info with another entity.

if you call the 800 number, they will supposedly cancel and refund no questions asked. It seems they are expecting these calls. I suppose if you don't notice for months, chances are you aren't going to be getting all of your $$ back. Luckily I noticed days after the initial charge. They admitted that they got the card info from Pro Flowers. Be sure to google proflowers and Easy Pay and see how many others got screwed.

I have used Proflowers in the past and have been satisfied. But no more. I made and order and the flowers were delivered a day late. When I called to inquire I was told that Fedex couldn't find the address. Well they found it the next day. I have sent items from Proflowers to this address before with no problems. I was not notified that there was a problem. I was embarrassed when I called the recipient and asked about the flowers and found out they had not been shipped. I think I will look else where for a florist.

well.....today is Valentines day and my girlfriend gets off work in about 45 min (300pm) and no flowers! i ordered them and even paid the extra to have then delivered in the morning!!! So in about an hour i get to hear all about how everyone at the office got flowers and she didnt!!! Now im gonna have to go to the jewelry store to make up for Proflowers mistake!!!! im gonna end up spending about a grand just to make her feel better about the $85 flowers she didnt get!!!

They ruined valentines day. I will never use them again. Even though I ordered the flowers on January 30th and used flexible shipping which means they could deliver them on either February 13th or the 14th if they wanted to. My girlfriend sat in her office and never received anything. Thanks Proflowers.

I was disappointed that the flowers I sent my wife for Valentine ’s Day were not arranged as they looked in the online photos. What she got was flowers wrapped in cellophane and a vase wrapped in bubble wrap and a set of do-it-yourself instructions. It was quite unattractive.

They that the condition the arrangements are in is represented on their web site, but I saw no such picture when placing my order. They should make it clear that the beautiful flowers that we see are not actually what you will get.

In the future, I will buy from a local shop, where they will deliver something beautiful, instead of a ‘kit’.

Update: I received an email from their customer center, no more than 1 hour after I sent them the above note. They offered to refund the full purchase price ($52.96) AND... replace the flowers with another order of equal value. Wow! I am impressed, and a bit embarrassed because the quality of the flowers was excellent, I was only disappointed that they were not arranged attractively. I am re-doing my rating to reflect that they are a very responsible company and have great customer service.

I placed a order for flowers on Feb 4th, 2008. I explicitly asked my credit card
not to be shared on the account.
After I did the checkout there was a popup
for a 15 % discount. I clicked this and entered my email address and zipcode.

I was immediate signed up with a company called Easy Saver.
I found this to be a bad selling practice by Pro Flowers.

I immediately called Pro Flowers and told them I did not want to do business with
them and to cancel my order. They did so prompt.
I also asked them to not share my personal information with any third-party.
I was ensured after a followup phone the next day that this was done.

A week later when reviewing my credit charge statement I noticed a charge of $1.95 on Feb 5th
from easy saver.

I believe proflowers shared my credit card with easy saver. This was fraudulen

My order was placed 12/23 and promised delivery on 12/24.I received a call 12/24 and told that my order would now be delivered 12/26 on 12/26 I received a call telling me that the delivery service for the area of my gift was closed for the week.They should have known and told me this the first time they called me so that I could have made other plans.They promise same day delivery,they promise next day delivery,all I know is there has been no delivery.I have been unable to access my account and unable to track my order.I called and cancelled my order.I hope they cancel orders better than the deliver them. ProFlowers/Florist Express did me no favors for the, Holiday Service they offered but,they did happen to slap a HOLIDAY SERVICE CHARGE onto my bill.HO! HO! HO! MERRY NO DELIVERY!

A $15 off coupon costs money everyone!

My most recent experience with ProFlowers was troublesome. An Easy Saver Rewards scam has popped up on their web page. I was lured into accepting an offer for a $15 off coupon.

Proflowers charged my credit card a $1.95 setup fee. I was surprised as I did not see any place in the advertisement about fees and charges ... yet it happened.

I sent an email of complaint, but nothing was offered to keep my business. So I will remove all traces of me from their web page account and find another business to buy flowers from. I really don't like the idea of my flower order having to be assembled by the recipient anyway.

I'll use a local flower shop to deliver an order locally or long distance. It may cost a little more but they have always been honest.

Easy Saver Rip-Off

I was also a victim of the Easy Saver scam. They have been charging my credit card 14.95 for months. (I know - I should have caught it right away.) I just spoke to a Proflowers customer service rep. He admitted that the box that pops up looks like part of their website, and it looks like you are selecting an option for free deliver from Proflowers, but it is really free delivery for the Easy Saver product. I have no idea what that product is. I've received nothing from them. I would have never knowingly signed up for this. I think that this is fraud, and I'm going to start with my state's attorney general's office to figure out how to fight back. I encourage anyone else who has been scammed to do the same.

lousy company

22 years My wife has been getting a dozen roses for our anniversary, until now. I decided to save a little time and order them online this year instead of stopping by our local florist I used Proflowers.com, My mistake, my BIG mistake !

After paying the $75.97 which included all of their 'handling fee's' and 'expediting charge' to have them delivered before 1:00pm, I finally had to call her at 2:30 and ask her if she had gotten them. You can imagine how embarrasing that was.

Not as embarasing as her having to tell me 'No, I havent'.When I called to inquire/complain, I was offered a whopping $3.99 refund. YES, $3.99 from a $75 oreder !

I wont make the same mistake again, and hopefully this will save some one else the embarassment of going through this company and letting a loved one down.

CALLED PROFLOWERS 800 NUMBER: AFTER 1/2 HOUR TRACKING THEY DISCOVER THEY ACCIDENTALLY SWITCHED MY BILLING ADDRESS TO THE RECIPIENTS ADDRESS- CREDIT CARD COMPUTOR SAW NO INFO MATCH SO ORDER WAS CANCELLED. NO NOTICE TO ME FROM PROFLOWERS, OPERATOR GAVE SMALL APOLOGY, SAID THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM OFTEN MESSES UP ORDERS-NO REPAIR OF DISAPOINTMENT AND EMBARRASSMENT. I order a dozen specific roses that are too date still on their website. A replacement order was sent ... then a email explaining and apologizing for the replacement. The email said I would receive an additional order plus my ORIGINAL order. Instead I received yet another replacement with another email same verbiage. Between these deliveries I responded to the emails asking when I'd receive my original order. I was told I would receive it as stated in the last email. I instead receive some ratty whithered plain red roses and a partial refund. Not at one time was I told I could not receive my original order. I asked why are you still advertising something you DO NOT SALE? No response. Basically their punch line should be "Send QUANTITY, not QUALITY. Send ProFlowers."
I've withdrawn my company's (AT&T) business from them. Nor will I or my company associate with any florist that deals with them as a 3rd party.

BEWARE! When I placed an order for flowers, I got several boxes for which I entered information. Little did I know that one of the screens was actually for a different company called Easy Savers, which has been charging me $14.95/month for a service I did not order or want. When I order online, I always check off the boxes for no more information, no special offers, etc., so I was shocked to find out that I now belonged to this "club".

The flowers, however, arrived on time and were very nice. However, they have now cost me a lot more than I anticipated because it took me awhile to catch onto this scam. I wonder whether Proflowers gets a kickback from this scam, which is why they can offer flowers at low prices.

Service/Price/Flowers were Great; Marketing was awful

I don't know if anybody will read down this far, but for what it's worth:
I was a long-time customer (7 years or more).
The prices were decent, I guess, and delivery was always on time, and the flowers were always of high quality.
BUT I finally got tired of all the marketing. Every time I ordered something, I'd get back on the mailing list, and get catalogs in the mail. Customer service would take me off the list on request, but they still can't promise that ordering won't put me right back on. They're "working" on a permanent unsubscribe.
In the past, I also got catalogs from affiliated brands.
I'll have to summarize by saying that if you don't care about all the marketing crap, the price/service/quality are very good. But if you just want to pay for a product, without additonal marketing, you should try somewhere else.

For the most part, our dealings with Proflowers has been pretty decent. When my husband would go out to sea, he would give me flowers for every month he was gone and on special occasions. I also would send out flowers to others e.g, for their birthdays, anniversaries, get well etc...where the persons received the flowers on time and loved the bouquet. But when a friend of ours was dying and in ICU a year ago, they nor their wife received the flowers. Unfortunately, our friend died before the flowers were ever received. We were all too saddened to do anything about it and I didn't dare ask our friend if she finally received the flowers. This was a horrible incident; no-one should have to encounter. My point is, if someone is in critical care and you want to send flowers to them, I would count on another company.

Flowers Not Fresh But Replacement Bouquet Is Being Sent

I ordered blue and yellow irises from ProFlowers for my husband on Tuesday. They arrived very promptly at our home the following day. However, they died about 3 days later, some of the buds had never even opened up although I followed the flower care instructions. I've ordered flowers before from ProFlowers and never had an issue until this batch. I called on Sunday and the customer service rep guaranteed a replacement bouquet to arrive the upcoming Tuesday. We'll see how long these next flowers last, but I am at least happy that they were willing to send a replacement bouquet.

I used this company a few months ago to send flowers to a friend.

The flowers arrived wilted, and some of the flowers had broken off from the stem.

I emailed Proflowers customer service and they were not helpful at all. It seemed like they did not even care that the order was poor.
