I got my Valentine's Day flowers. It was a 'do-it-yourself' box of flowers. I had to strip the leaves, de-petal the roses, and got stabbed because they don't strip the thorns. These were not high grade roses, and the stems were crooked. It also contained 2 sprigs of baby's breath. Instead of going "Oh!" I was like "WTF???". It's a good thing I love my boyfriend, and I know he meant well, because this is just awful.

Ordered flowers with a voucher I bought through Amazon.com. When I placed the order on their web sight it showed that I was supposed to get a free vase. Even after I entered my voucher number and clicked on the final complete order It was showing a free vase. When I got the email they charged me for the vase, eating up part of my voucher. When I called them I was told you only get one offer per order. When I told him, there was no special offer listed on the web sight for what I was ordering, I was only using the voucher, I was told the same thing over and over. You only get one offer per order. So last time I will ever order from Proflowers.com Oh by the way, On top of their "listed price" There is a 9.99 delivery fee, 4.99 Valentines day delivery, a 2.99 "Care & Handling" charge and tax. Order from them at your own risk.

False Advertising

"Buyer Beware False Advertising Florest Express is a Scam. I did not receive what I ordered and very unhappy. "Florist Express offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our service for any reason feel free to contact us. We will either refund your money or redeliver a new product depending on ...the situation. The choice is yours!" This is false and untrue. Sure they will give you a 15% discount coupon on your next order. When I told them I would never order from them again they offered me a 20% discount. All I wanted was the flowers I ordered to be delivered correctly and I guess they can't do that. I ordered an arrangement of roses, lilies and alstroemeria and got daisies, lilie buds and roses barely open. They blamed their supplier again and again. But NO REFUND or REDELIVERY. Where is that 100% guarantee?"

Avoid them. Product is subpar. Also I run my own Domain. So I can make any email address I like, and frequently use "CompanyName@Mydomain.com" when registering on websites. I used "ProFlowers@MyDomain.com" and I receive Spam all the time now to the "ProFlowers@MyDomain.com" address I only used with their website. What does that say for the rest of your information? If you don't mind a company that could care less about your information, go with any of the Provide Commerce Sites. I had to go to the BBB to get my money back!

ProFlowers is possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with. They screwed up a Mother's Day order for me, and then only offered TUESDAY delivery(?)! Being an idiot, I tried again with them. Yesterday was my wife's bday and despite ordering 5 days in advance, the flowers never arrived. The epically condescending customer service woman offered: (a) to deliver "replacement" flowers (hello, we never got the first ones) 3 DAYS later, as long as they were "still of equal or lesser value", or (b) a refund of the charges to be credited w/in two weeks (although of course the charges are immediately debited upon ordering). They once again did not understand that the timing was an issue. This company would be an SNL skit if it weren't so truly sad. And we wonder why American companies cannot compete. Staggering incompetence and customer service that is beyond embarrassing.

I ordered the flowers for my Godfathers funeral and was a little skeptical from some of the reviews. I placed the order the day before the funeral, to be delivered in a city about 150 miles away. Upon arrival at the funeral home the next day, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, freshness, and beauty of the arrangement. The card was just as ordered. The flowers had been delivered just before the time I requested. They were exactly as pictured and probably the nicest arrangement there. I will definetly use them again and recommend ProFlowers to all of my family and firends.

I don't think I have ever written a bad review before, but ProFlowers/Florist Express is the ABSOLUTE WORST FLOWER SERVICE...EVER!!!!!! DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! NOT ONLY DO THEY MESS UP YOUR ORDER, NOT DELIVER IT, CHARGE YOU INCORRECTLY ETC ETC, BUT THEY ALSO HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVIC & DON'T REALLY CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAYE!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!!
ProFlowers via FloristExpress did not deliver flowers on time for a funeral, said they didn't have any in stock when someone passed away and I paid extra for same day service, & they did not reimburse me even thought they said they would! Absolutely unacceptable! Warn your family & friends to not get duped... |

PROFLOWERS RIPPED ME OFF...FIVE TIMES!!!
by molnut, June 24, 2011
|
|||||
|
PROFLOWERS RIPPED ME OFF...FIVE TIMES!!! My husband and I have moved to Australia (from the United States). For Mother's Day we had bouquets delivered to our two mothers and one grandmother. I ordered the bouquets that came with a free vase. When I hit "order" I was charged for vases on each order (the rip off count is up to three). However, I felt, "that must have been my fault somehow" and decided to ignore it. A month later...we have two bonsai trees sent to our fathers for Father's Day. We were running late on this order so I asked for Saturday delivery and was fine with the 14.99 Saturday Delivery charge. Instead. I hit order and was charged for Saturday Delivery as well as Standard Delivery...on both orders! The rip off count is now to five. I sent two emails to ProFlowers customer service. No response as yet. Surprising since the second you order something your email is inundated with shipping updates and new offers. I am mad. What is that saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The only thing I look forward to now is sharing my experience with everyone.

ProFlowers is horrible. Ordered Flowers and Straberries for Mother's Day. I received notes from ProFlowers and Shari"s Berries offering big discounts on my next order because I had purchased for Marie (Mom). Mom never got the flowers or strawberries. I contacted ProFlowers and was told I never ordered from them. That the last thing I had ordered from them was for Kaylee, (grandaughter). I advised them that I had received the email offering the discounts for ordering for my mother. They said did not order from that department and sent me to another department who said "No Way!" And I should not have been sent to them. I emailed their "WeCare" department with the same information only to get a message that basically said I had to jump through more hoops and research all of my credit cards and that even though they may have sent to discounts that it did not prove I had ordered the flowers. I spent over two hours on it thus far and they can keep my $$$ and their business.

Florist Express is owned by ProwFLowers and I would highly recommend that you NOT use this company.
I ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mom on the Tuesday before Mother's Day through them. Well, I found out on the Wednesday after Mother's Day that the flowers were never delivered. Florist Express took no responsibility they just blamed the local florist that they contracted and basically said "oh well". The wouldn't refund any $, but, promised to deliver them on the Thursday AFTER Mother's Day WITH an apology. They did deliver the flowers, but, no apology at all. Once again I called and they said sorry, but, they couldn't do anything about it. I asked to have a refund of some sort and was told that they could do that if they went back to my mom's house and took the flowers back. This company is the WORST of the WORST!! I am telling everyone to stay away from these people. From now on I'll stick to calling up local florist's. Very upset with this company!!! |

I ordered flowers for Mother's Day and knowing it's a busy time for florists, ordered them to arrive on Saturday. ProFlowers' website indicated that there was a chance they might not be delivered until Sunday, which was Mother's Day. That wasn't a problem for me.
What was a problem for me was getting an email from them Sunday afternoon letting me know that the flowers were not going to be delivered. They could, however, deliver them on Monday or Tuesday with an apology note to my mother. I declined their generous offer and requested a refund. I then received another email offering $10 off a future order, along with the previously offered Monday or Tuesday delivery. I again requested my refund, noting that Mother's Day had already come and gone. I then got a voicemail that said I had to call their customer service number to get a refund because they had to verify my request. I called and waited on hold for 5 minutes, then sent an email requesting my refund. We'll see how it turns out. A word to the wise- don't patronize these folks. |

I ordered from Pro flowers a few times. My last order that was sent to my mother as an early mother's day gift was completely pathetic...the flowers looked NOTHING like the advertised arrangement. EXTREMELY MISLEADING!
by stacai, May 4, 2011

Proflowers website is extremly misleading! I ended up with a bill that was $20 more that expected!!!!!! The worst part is that they refused to do anything about it, simply saying that they were sorry for the confusion but they couldn't do anything about delivery charges. So, if you decide to order from them be aware that the delivery charge LISTED on the site is IN ADDITION TO a 9.99 standard delivery charge (which they DO NOT make apparent). I would HIGHLY suggest that you order from a local florist (just google it), that is what I have ALWAYS done in the past and it has never been a problem. WOW, did I learn my lesson with PROFlOWERS! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM (or any online site) AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO TRUST THEIR WEBSITE!

I was very excited to order such a beautiful arrangement that I chose on the web site. What was delivered, is a different story. My recipient, although pleased to get flowers, recieved a bouquet that seemed to only be half of what displayed online. I did complain to ProFlowers, they were gracious enough to offer an oppourtunity to reorder at no cost to me or to recieve a full refund. I asked if they could guarantee a better bouquet, but I wasn't confident that it would be a better experience after recieving their answer. I then opted for a full refund. All I can say is, "Buyer beware." Don't order based on what you see. I guess that's the risk we all take when we order online.

They promised my order placed on 2/11 would arrive on 2/14 and I paid extra delivery charges to ensure this. Not only did my order not arrive but they never even shipped it, and never bothered to let me know that they hadn't shipped it. In fact, when I check their website on the 14th it says the item I ordered isn't available until 2/22! They claim they will be refunding 100% of the cost of my order; which I will believe when I see it. I will never order from these people again. I am sitting here at 2:00PM on Valentines Day. I was told by my fiance that she got a sad looking bouqet of flowers with a card from "Ron" delivered to her office. Problem is, I'm not "Ron" and I ordered the 100 blooms with candy and a bear. She sent me a pick of what looks like hand picked wild weeds and nothing like what I ordered. Proflowers response? Oh, our mistake, we will send the right order tomorrow.......... Really? Tomorrow? I paid $23 in delivery charges to get it there on Valentines day and the best you can do is say you are sorry and you will get them there tomorrow? BTW, that $29 advertised price is $70 when you check out. Why? $10 delivery, $10 more if you want it on Valentines Day and you want it handled with care?.. $3 more. I will NEVER use proflowers again and will be considering legal action just for the principle of the thing.

My husband got me flower of the month club for Christmas from Proflowers, and the photos of the bouquets sent were gorgeous.
Received my first delivery of just stems. One flower opened after 4 days, the other did not. Called customer service, and they promptly sent a replacement bouquet. Unfortunately, I had the EXACT same issue with the second bouquet. February's delivery came a few days ago, with 8 unopened stems...4 of the stems were either broken or already dead. On top of that, they forgot to include the vase he paid for. My husband called to cancel and get a refund...which we were told would go through in 10 days (waiting to see). The worst part is based on their gorgeous photos, I have sent Proflowers to many out-of-state friends and family. Now I'm sick thinking of how awful and cheap the flowers I sent must have looked. Three different deliveries to me in 5 weeks time, all were damaged and none looked even presentable. I will NEVER use Proflowers again. |

I made the mistake of ordering from this company. The flowers arrived on my wives birthday and all but THEY CAME IN A PACKING BOX! Not at all the excitement they should have brought cause it defeats the purpose of making the person your sending flowers to feel extra special and have those flowers paraded in front of others. Nope instead my beautiful wife gets a friggin box with flowers packed for shipping inside. Worst flower buying experience ever, go to a local florist if you love the one your getting flowers for.
