I have been searching for a new florist, saw ProFlowers ads online. Before using them for a gift or special occasion arrangement, I decided to send myself a relatively inexpensive arrangement ("Pink Crush") first to try out their service. The order arrived on time, as promised, and email communications kept me well informed. The quality and health of the flowers seemed fine, although some were slightly damaged from transit. But the overall arrangement was exceedingly disapointing, because the colors were different from the photo, and the different flowers bloomed at different times (in the photo online, they're all in bloom at the same time, making for a beautiful and full arrangment). I followed all of the instructions to the lettter. The tulips opened up nicely within a few hours, but the lilies didn't start opening until 4 days later, when the tulips were now starting to drop petals! Equally disappointing was the colors didn't match the flowers in the photos. The pink lilies were very pale soft pink, with no depth of color, and the tulips were also a light pink, which made for a terrible combination when combined with the vibrant green button mums (which contrast nicely with hot pink flowers such as the ones pictured on the website). After 3 days, I recut the stems and changed the water, removed the green mums and ended up with a small monochrome arrangement that should have cost no more than $20. (I paid $42.88). I suppose I paid $43 for a "lesson learned", but at least I didn't embarrass myself by sending them as a gift, or let my husband waste $100+ at ProFlowers on my anniversary or birthday flowers. Great concept, field to customer, but it needs some work.
