Crooks! Don't even consider using this company! This company is typical bait and switch type of business, we ordered some product that we were told was NEW and it arrived refurbished. They sent us a call tag and it was sent back to them, they had the product back for months. We called numerous times to get our credit back, of course they said they credited us back already, what a bunch of crap! It took us getting our lawyer involved to finally get our credit back. Getting a goodprice for something is not as important as finding a reputable trustworthy company to buy from! Do your research and read the reviews first!

SHAKY, AT BEST - SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I ordered my 46 Sony Aquos TV on 9/26/08 (and yes, I was upsold, but it was a great deal.) I called PriceMad customer service on Monday, October 6th and was told I would be receiving an email with the tracking # by 6:30 p.m. I never received that email. I called them back Tuesday, October 7, and was told that when the TV landed in CA, I would be given a call by the delivery company to set up the date & time for delivery, either the next day or Thursday. Today, I went to the PriceMad website again, and found a note with a number and Manna.com written next to it. I took a chance, and Googled Manna.com, typed in the number as the tracking number, and viola! I found my order. The shipping company Manna.comto me theydidnt receive the delivery request until 10/8/08 two weeks AFTER I paid for my TV!!. I CALLED MANNA TO GET MY OWN DAMN DELIVERY DATE SINCE THEY HADN'T BOTHERED TO CALL ME.

I'll return to this site next week after my TV is delivered to complete this review.

I should have looked here first.
I found the TV I wanted, they told me it would be 2 weeks before I would receive, so for a little extra $$ they would sell me a better one and it was in stock ready to ship. It took 2 weeks to receive this TV by their "EXPRESS SHIP".
After opening the box the remote was dirty and has been used and the TV was recondition with only a 30 day warranty.
They have not returned any of my e-mails and I'm scared to ship the TV back for return because I'm thinking I'll be out $$, shipping cost and the TV.

Horrible Experience in Buying from PriceMad

I bought an LCD from this company and they told me that the $.01 shipping rate would result in a three week delivery from NY to the West Coast. It has now been four weeks. They have lied to me on three separate occasions regarding my delivery date.

Their "customer service" is a joke. They simply forward you to a never-ending ring (which ultimately drops your call when nobody picks up after five minutes) when you give them your order number.

After ten separate phone calls, they finally stopped lying to me and told me that they never had the TV in stock!!! This is four weeks after I submitted the order and they confirmed it!!! I just cancelled the order.

I will never think of buying anything from this company in the future. There is a "reason" for their low prices.

I will never order from here again and will not recommend anyone ordering from there. They are deceitful and customer service does not exist there. You do not want to deal with these people. It is nerve racking!!! Please believe me. I bought my TV from them and had issues which I thought was never going to get taken care of. They never do what they tell you that they are going to do. Please be careful and order from other retail stores on-line.

Frustrating Experience!

Stay away from Pricemad.com!! They had the best price on the Pioneer PDP-5080HD, But I wish that I would have purchased locally. They will not answer e-mail requests for a tracking number, and I have called them numerous times requesting one. If a tracking number is important to you to track the progress of you package, don't use them. Customer service reps are rude, and I have been hung up on twice. I wish I could cancel this order without incurring additional charges, but that is not possible.

I placed an order for Samsung LCD TV with PriceMad.com because it's the lowest price from the price comparison sites. After one confirmation call made by me, I hadn't gotten anything from them for more than one week.

So I tried to contact them but their customer service sucked... No email inquiry, they only accepted a call support. After too many transferring.. I finally had a chance to talk to the rep and he said it's back ordered and needed a few more weeks to ship.

I cancelled the transaction, and placed an order with Amazon.com

Fortunately, they did not charge me, so I just wasted my time. Price is really low, but you'll know why it's cheap

Ruthless Shy-locks It's almost tolerable that your on-line order is not released until you call in for an almost laughable hardball pitch to sell you list price+ accessories, components etc. But when they recant the order and try to sell you a lower end model as a higher one, its shows the desperation and complete lack of business ethics. Incredibly rude and vial people. These people should be investigated and prosecuted for misrepresentation and e-commerce law violations.

I went to there website to make an order for a projector they had listed. Although the Infocus x2 hadn't been produced in about a year the website said they had some in stock. The website didn't say anything about a "Refurbished" or "Re-serviced" projector so I assumed it was new. I even called to talk to someone to verify that it was a new projector. The salesman said that, in fact, it was a brand new projector, from old stock still on hand and that it was new in factory sealed box. So I ordered it. I got the e-mail requesting me to call them about verification of my credit card (as a number of people here talk about) and noticed that in the e-mail they say the projector is "Re-serviced." Not what I wanted or was told. Luckily for me I use Bank of America's online credit card called "Shop Safe" (an assigned temporary C Card number that's only good for one transaction) and used BOA's website to immediately cancel the order. I won't be dealing with PriceMad.com again!

Learn from my mistakes. Read the reviews. The only person who would write anything positive about this co. is an employee. Even after the poor reviews I ordered a plasma tv for the price. What you save in the price they will make up for in over pricing shipping. I was told that delivery would take 3-5 days. On the sixth day I called for confirmation. After spending 30 minutes on hold and transfers I was told my order had actually not been processed yet and it would be "at the earliest" another week for delivery. I cancelled my order(hopefully it gets processed) BEWARE

I recently bought a 42" Panasonic plasma TV from PriceMad.com. Brian was my contact and I expressed to him my concerns based on some bad customer service reviews. He said they had had problems in the past but had worked through many of them. I live in Florida and was ordering the product as a gift for my father in Texas. Everything went very smoothly and in 7 days from the order date, the delivery company was contacting my father to have the delivery set up. The plasma in now in my folks home and working beautifully. My other contact person, Sarah, in customer service was very helpful. I do think that they need to have the order confirmation emailed to you immediately so that tracking can start right away. It was emailed 48 hours later to coincide with their processing. I'm just used to immediate verification. My overall experience with PriceMad was very positive and my brother-in-law is ordering from them now based on my experience.

Absolutely Horrible from the moment I placed order online

Ordered Lcd Tv on line. Got at least 5 emails saying to call to confirm, when i did they said im all set , TV will ship in a few days. I still kept getting emails saying to call to confirm. When you call customer service, most times you wait on hold, if you do get to talk to someone, its someone who either has a problem holding a conversation or is an idiot. I waited two weeks for my Tv and then called back and was told "where is the waiver of warranty?". What waiver or warranty? No one ever said anything about that. He said because they are not an authorized dealer u have to sign. Said would fax and hung up.. never faxed .. never sent email never returned my calls.. so i took hint and canceld order which they were happy to do so. I dont think they ever were really going to ship me a tv, maybe they didnit have in stock? or maybe because i was unwillinng to buy extra warranties and wall mounts. Never do business with them!!! Never

I was ringing to inquire about a JVC TV before buying from them (I was ready to buy, google listed them as the cheapest online). Shocking phone service, I'm sure the guy hung up on me when I asked a question he didn't know the answer to. I patiently called back, heard the same guy, asked if we'd just been speaking, he said no, and then he gave me incorrect technical advice about the set, then closed the conversation which amounted to me feeling like he'd hung up on me again..

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS. Amazing. I ordered a Sony Bravia Plasma TV 7 weeks ago, I've called every week for the past five weeks to find out what is wrong. Every week they told me "shipping today". I called yesterday, the product still had not shipped. I told them to cancel the order.

When you get on the phone with them you hold and hold... then someone answers and forwards you to another department... then you hold and hold... then another transfer... ad infinitum. Plus they are not friendly or nice (or god forbid apologetic!).

Save yourself some grief and do not order from this store. I don't understand their high rating- rude customer service, long wait times, no product, lies... what's up w/ that!

I made an order through PriceMad.com. After it was placed a sales person called me and said the advertisement for the product was an error. It would be a refurbished unit instead of a new one. The new one would cost me $100 more. I decided to spend the extra dollars and ordered a new one.
What I received was a refurbished one for $100 more.

This people are liars.

Avoid this retailer at all costs. When ordering the TV and stand, they told me it would all be here in about a week. A week later I called them and the order had not even shipped yet. They told me it was due to the holidays. Okay. A few days later I got a tracking number for the tv and the shipping company told me it was on the way. Turns out it was on the way to someone else completely. I called back PriceMad and they had to complete redo the order - that was at two weeks after the order.

The stand finally arrives after 3 weeks, in about a thousand pieces. I have to return it and I call again. They tell me they will pick up the stand the next day and send another one "expedited shipping". The stand is not picked up for about a week after that. After several calls over the next week, I still cannot get a tracking number on the new stand to be sent out. They say they will call you back and don't. Worst online shopping experience ever.

I was terribly disappointed by this company. I ordered a laptop online. They called me to change the order, they said I didn't want the model I had ordered and talked me into a different model. I reconsidered and called them back to cancel the order. I was told I would pay a 10% restocking fee. I argued that the item never left the store so there would be no restocking required. Sorry, that is the policy. Now 10 days later I checked my credit card activity to find that the company charged me a different amount than the purchase price and the charge has not been credited back to me. I called to verify that the charge would be reversed and was told that they would refund all but $50 of the price and if I call back to argue about the restocking fee again they'll charge me the entire $80.
