Pottery Barn's Disappointing New Customer Service Policy - PBteen Couldn't Care Less About Customers!

The new bedding and furniture I ordered from Pottery Barn Teen was delivered in damaged condition. The boxes looked like someone had played hockey with them on the loading dock. I quickly contacted PB to remedy the situation and the customer service reps were rude and unhelpful.

I explained that the items were a birthday present for my son whose turning 10. I further explained that replacements that wouldn't be there for a week wouldn't help me out with a birthday present today. I told them it was the equivalent of getting a Christmas stocking on New Years, it's just not the same.

They told me I could return the items but that I would still be charged the shipping costs of $90+. Because they had the ability to send a replacement.

In addition, they told me that they wouldn't return the clearance sheets that I purchased either because they clearly state a no refund policy for clearance items. I explained that the only reason I was returning them was because they matched the units I was returning and if they hadn't of come damaged I wouldn't need to return any of the items.

Again they didn't care and were rude and unhelpful. The manager explained that they no longer have "such a lenient return policy". How disappointing!

Beware of dealing with Pottery Barn, it won't be worth it!
