All the poor reviews made me reluctant, but i was going to DIE without a pair of Chanel 5120 sunglasses... so i took the chance.
Im glad i did! the glasses are beautiful; everything i wanted them to be. but there were things i didnt like. YES...like the fact that i discovered after ordering that their phone number is disconected so the only way to get in contact is by email. And it took almost two weeks to ship, which made me 'iffy' as well. BUT, each time i contacted customer service by email, they responed within 24hours to let me know what was going on, which put me at ease. Apparently they had the order from the manufacturer 'cause they dont have them on hand. But it wasnt a rush for me, so as long as they could get the authentic thing... it was worth it! once they 'got the glasses from the manufacturer' it arrived at my place in 3 days via UPS and i LOVE them! i would definitely use them again, but i do think there are some things they can work on to make the buyer more comfortable. hope this helps! |

They had an item I wanted available online, but it was not actually available in the size indicated on the website and they couldn't obtain it. I would prefer that the items that are not available not be listed on the web page as being available. Other than that, I am very pleased with the product and service.

price was good... there was no way to track my order. item was shipped 2nd day air, and I did receive it as scheduled. When I called, inquiring about my delivery, the young man was very pleasant and told me that my glasses had been delivered. They arrived 3 hours later. I was thrilled to received my glasses, since I was leaving for vacation the next day. I would recommend to all my friends & family to buy from PopularGlasses........

My glasses were ordered from the manufacturer so it was going to take up to 10 days for the order to process and ship once they arrived at Popularglasses.com. I asked if I oculd just cancel the order and was told I could not until the order had been processed. I received a phone call about a week later asking me if I would like to cancel my order due to the glasses being on Back order from the manufacturer. If you want your glassses quickly, you might want to shop somewhere else.

Placed an order, never received any kind of confirmation, email or otherwise. When I followed up with the merchant they said they didn't have the glasses however on the website it said they were in stock. There has been an authorization on my paypal account and it has not been removed so they are holding $89.99 dollars. It will drop off in 30 days but I am unable to access my money for that time and didn't receive product. If they didn't have the product, they should have contacted me in some way. Lack of communication has lost them a Customer.

Their site looked so professional I didn't even question that they are a scam. Placed an order 4/18 and was told I would receive in 8 business days. I inquired via email four times. The first two went unanswered. The third said they would ship in 3 business days. A week later I gave them 24 hours to respond or I would let them deal with AMEX. They emailed they would ship in 2 business days. They have not. The order is still showing 'processing'. Amex is now investagating for me. Thank heavens I used a card that is pro-customer. I can't understand how this company is still allowed to do business.

Glasses came with inaccurate prescription and wrong seg ht. How can company expect to fill progressive sunglasses when it does not asked for and customer has no idea the size of the lens to give an accurate seg ht. Should not company say they can't fill progressive lenses? When I got my glasses I then had to go to a local optician to get that information and glassess had to be sent back. Still waiting for the glasses.

Ordered the glasses on Sunday. Called on Tuesday to ask a question about them and was then told that the glasses were discontinued. So I didn't actually complete a purchase at PopularGlasses but would try to buy from them again. I will say that I was very disappointed to learn that the pair of glasses I had ordered off their website was no longer available. They should update their website in such cases to avoid customers believing all glasses posted on the website are available for purchase. It was a real letdown for me to search through so many pairs, finally decide on a pair that suited only to discover later my glasses were discontinued. All discontinued glasses should be taken off the website regularly.

This was a really bad customer service experience. I never received my sunglasses (the order was submitted 3 weeks ago) and did not get any type of e-mail to let me know why the order was being delayed. If there was a problem with the credit card I used or the sunglasses are currently not in stock I should have received some type of notification to let me know what the status of my order was or if I needed to do anything else to successfully complete my order. I ended up getting my sunglasses somewhere else, of course. I just looked on the sumglasses site and it still says my order is in process. PLEASE DO NOT attempt to hit my credit card for these sunglasses at this point. I DO NOT want them anymore. I alrady bought a pair somewhere else.

I returned glasses via insured mail and NEVER GOT CREDITED the $136.00! Customer Service admitted to receiving the returned glasses from me but couldn't figure out why my account was not credited. After 5 conversations with them, they stopped returning my calls. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and their failure to respond to my complaint resultes in them having an Unsatisfactory Rating! I'd rather have my $136 dollars back but at least they now have a poor rating.
My credit card attempted to get the money back for me but the president of the company wrote them a letter saying I never contacted them with a problem and stating I never returned the sunglasses. I was in absolute disbelief. My credit card company got this letter from him a few days before the cut off to dispute the return (90 days), not giving me any time to get all my information of dates, proof of return and names of people I spoke to to them(which I had). My credit card company was sure we would have won the dispute if we didn't miss the cut off. I do not recommend this company. |

I placed the order and after not receiving an email or notification that my order had been received, I sent them an email. Until I sent them the email, they had not responded. When they did respond, they told me the product had been sent back to the manufacturer because of a defect. I finally received the sunglasses and they were the wrong color. I sent them back the following day and I called them. When I called them I was told I should of called first to obtain a number so they could track it. I told them I sent it with a return receipt confirmation #. I've since sent them the confirmation tracking # and have yet to receive a response. I had talked to them about just getting my money back and I was told I would be charged a 20% re-stocking charge even though it was their error. I'm just disappointed they didn't attempt to make amends when it was their error. They've made me feel as if it was my error not theirs. Not impressed with their communication and customer service.

Very very sad, of course being 14 hours difference in time, a phone call wasnt possible. Seller didnt communicate or respond to emails, I cancelled the order, seller shipped some sunglasses to me, not the glasses I wanted. The order still hasnt been completed, items from my order are missing, popularglasses have accepted no acknowlegment of this.
I have shipped the glasses back, if a refund isnt received by COB next friday, I have to contact my bank for them to reverse the payment.
I have further made a blog on my website regarding this incident for all to see, you can access this and get the story from my side, the buyer and customer.
I will do all I can to ensure noone that I know, or reads my blog will purchase from this rip off company.
