The order was accepted and three weeks later I recd. an email that it was not in stock and that my order was being canceled. I had followed up three days earlier and was told it would be shipped the following week. I wasted three weeks for a product I needed for my meeting.

It looked like UPS had to repack the 4 cans of product since the original packing was inside the carton and torn. The cans of product were missing caps and leaking all over the packaging.
E-mail to customer service received no response

I like Polsteins. But the picture of the cloths pins I ordered said made in USA, but when I received them they were actually marked on the package made in China.
Polsteins should carry more made in USA products.

Hands down the most irresponsible customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Issued me the wrong tracking number, lost my product in shipping, I waited for over 10 days to be shipped a product from New Jersey, to Pennsylvania. 5 customer service calls, and the only resolution was "try canceling your order and starting over from the beginning, but by the way, that item is not Out of Stock!, it could be a week at the soonest that we could get you that item" |

Ordered through Amazon.com and Home and Beyond was the seller. I ordered a Seal A Meal - but they sent me the wrong model and they model they sent was $20 less expensive. They were supposed to send me the correct model, but had to finally get a refund from Amazon.com. Terrible customer service and they didn't send me what I paid for!

As a previous reviewer said, customer service is bad with Polsteins. I had ordered a product from the company. The order process was easy, the price was somewhat reasonable and the order came fairly quickly. But that's where the problems started.

10 days ago I ordered a "river rat" inner tube from Polsteins. On their website it indicated "Ships within 3-4 days"
3 days later I entered my order number in their website and it responded that the order could not be found. Tried the website again 2 days later with the same result, so I decided to call. The person who answered the phone had no trouble locating the order and promised me it would ship on the 12th (Six days after the order date). I mentioned that they should check their tracking system because it wasn't working her response was "Thats odd"... I explained that I knew it was odd, I just think someone should fix it... The product FINALLY shipped on the 16th, and will get here just too late for my river trip. 10 days to ship a 3 day item. I've found this to be one of my very few bad experiences ordering products online. And I'm certain I won't be doing business with this company again... And I feel I should warn you against doing business with them also. |
