My shopping experience with Planet Office Furniture was quite positive. They had a good selection of quality file cabinets at the best prices I could find. Delivery was within a few days, courteous and timely. Product came undamaged, unlike previous experiences with other carriers. I'd definitely buy my next file cabinet here.

Lots of website offer file cabinets and many do comparison shopping. It's hard to tell what quality a file cabinet is going to be. I wish web sites and office furniture catalogs would give quantitative information such as gauge of metal that the cabinets are made of. Then the cabinet itself doesn't even identify what product line it is, so how can you "order another one just like the one we have". (You have to go back through old paperwork, if you even have it.) You get what you pay for in terms of quality.

I was worried about getting the file cabinet off the truck, because the web site said free delivery ended at the back of the truck. But the driver made no fuss about helping me get the cabinet down off the truck without damaging it.

Then I was worried about concealed damage. Two file cabinets I ordered previously came with concealed damage - not too serious, but I didn't want expensive new cabinets to start out dinged. The merchant took them back and credited me in full, but it was a hassle. This cabinet was delivered in a huge truck, but must have been properly secured because there was no damage, knock on wood.

In summary, I'd definitely use Planet Office Furniture again for buying file cabinets.
