The product was inferior. They described it as being sturdy. Also, I think it would have helped if they had put a size or weight limit (of the cat) in their description of the product. Now I have to incur an additional cost to return the item. I will think twice about making another purchase on-line that cannot be returned locally.

I enjoyed purchasing items from PetsMart.com. It was alot easier than shopping in the store, as I could easily find the right items I needed. I also enjoyed avoiding the holiday traffic and waiting in lines.

The only problem I encountered was that I had printed a copy of something I was going to buy from the PETSMART website. However, the next week, when I actually placed the order, the item was no longer at that price. I contacted the customer service (via email/website) and told them of the situation. They told me that since I had printed the item out earlier and had seen that it was $2 less the week before that they would credit my card with the $2 refund. Don't know if this will happen since I have not rec'd credit card invoice but we'll see.

It was easy to navigate but when I put my final order in I found that two of the items were on back order. I'd really like to know that before the order was in it's final process and also I'd like to know if it will be a short delay or not. I'm still waiting for the (205388) Dog Crazy Ball but I did get my (204742) Talking Fleece Toy that was on back order and UPS was running ahead of schedule of the tracking date. So that was great but I'm still waiting for the other item that I'm in hopes of arriving before Christmas. All in all the shopping experience was very good and items that short in supply is just unfortunate.

I received the cage stand (worth about $50) but did not receive the cage (worth about $130) due to a lost shipment by UPS. I was charged for both items quite promptly. However, when it came to answers about the lost package, they were not as prompt. I called Petsmart customer service nummerous times over several days to request they open a tracer for the lost package with UPS. Each time, I was told the tracer would be opened shortly. It was never opened. After explaining this to UPS, they finally opened a tracer for me. Six days after the shipment was lost, I called Petsmart for a replacement. They agreed to send one. They also said that they would credit my credit card for the amount of the cage, and then re-charge it for the same amount. Well, they did charge the same amount, yet I have not received the credit for the shipment that was lost as of today. So, at this point, I've been charged twice for the same item and yet have nothing to show for it.

the only problem i had was that one of the ladders for the ferret cage was broken when i got the package, however i called up customer service and they said they would send me a new one in 7 to 10 days. it was not that big of a deal because it was a minor part. other than that the company is great.

After 4 unsuccessful trips to the local Petsmart store (always out of stock) I ordered online. Got the cat food a few days later - and free shipping. I could have saved myself 4 wasted trips to the local store! Will order on line again if they offer free shipping.

The box with 52 pounds of cat litter made it in one piece but was torn up pretty bad. The contents were in good condition. Love UPS! Pleased with my purchases. Surprised the catalog cost on one item was significantly lower than in the retail store ($17.99 vs. $23.99).

Ordered on 12/06, still awaiting CC Indoor Adult Formula (20 lb) as of 12/14. Of the 3 items that I ordered, 2 had to be back ordered. To date, there has been no follow-up, supplemental email contact on order status, and no attempt at additional considerations -- discounts, rebates, etc. This has been my first experience with PETsMART and it may be my last.

Order is put together from numerous Petsmart locations. There is a dedution from my bank card for each of these individual shipments rather than one amount for full order. Makes it confusing for keeping my bank balance. Half the order still backordered w/no word of when it is expected. I ordered cat food from another online pet product company on the same day and received that order last week. I will continue to shop at a Petsmart store, but will "not" order from them online again.
