The Exception

Pros:  reliable, honest, good rewards selections, coupons, vast shopping section

Cons:  not the best rewards program you'll find.

The Bottom Line:  Its a reliable program, which is hard to find nowadays.

SuzyKats is an exception to the rewards program : it doesn't offer tons of way to earn points, and if there are ways, they are not that easy YET it is a program that I think everyone should do. Why? Because its reliable!

I have been a member of SuzyKats for quite a while now-- the site wasn't 'automatic' when I started to become a member. The site design wasn't professional either. You couldn't check how many points you had by just logging in-- you had to email the owner (Lisa) and ask her about your account details. I was a little afraid to this program at start, because programs like these usually die in a couple of months, but I gave it a shot anyway.

The program started changing somewhere around July. The site design changed a little bit, the site was updated more often and Lisa replied a little slower. I guess, maybe because she was earning respect from her members and people were actually referring people to her 'non-automatic site.' Then, the same month she took the site down and said it would be back in mid-August. Well, it wasn't back until the first week of September, but she did keep up updated, so I guess that was good.

When the new site was launched, it was absloutely wonderful! You could actually see your point total and balance...and it was all a good experience! You didn't have to keep track of your activities and points on paper or notify her everytime you shopped or participated in an offer.

Though the new site did have some things that I didn't like. First of all, there were some occasional errors, but I always notified the customer service and they fixed it. Next, there were less sites to visit in the 'visit sites.' I questioned them about it, and they said that it is because other merchants don't allow rewards sites. Third, at times the site was really slow at times. (too much traffic?)

For the first few months, everything on the site went fine. Then, near the end of December problems started again. The site was down more often and it was almost impossible to earn points. Customer Service replied and said that they are getting too many members and will have to switch to new servers. So we missed about a week of points. Then, in February they again took the site down for a couple of days, to make final changes. This wasn't a big deal, but after they finally put it back up, the site was TOTALLY changed. They had a whole new look (which was better) and the site loaded much faster and for some reason, seemed simpler.

They made a big change not only to the site looks, but also to the point earning opportunities. Unlike other sites, SuzyKats had the visit sites section divided into 'daily' 'weekly' and 'monthly.' In daily, you earned points daily; weekly you earned points weekly; monthly you earned points monthly. The daily sites were GONE! They had only 6 sites to begin with, and every other month they reduced one...but now they were completely gone! This was very disappointing, but I guess there were still ways to earn points.

They still have Special Offers which has about 50 offers you can participate in for points. The best offer on the site right now is Ezwin-Lotto which gives 5 points daily for playing lotto. It's easy to play, and barely takes a minute. Shopping is still available, and they have about 400 merchants were you can earn points for shopping. Weekly and Monthly sites are also available, but I don't do them any more because it just takes too much time! (I am more like in and out of this program.) Another unique way to earn points is by reporting coupons, you get a point per coupon you tell them about (if they put it on the site-- which they normally do). Of course, referring friends is still there-- get 20 points for each friend you refer!

SuzyKats also has a good amount of rewards to choose from. I would think that you can earn about $50 from this program an year (which is pretty good, actually). You can cash out for Web Certificates, Flooz, Disney Dollars and several other gift certificates for popular companies, including Amazon.com. They deliver the rewards in 3-4 weeks, but if its urgent they will deliver it early.

The best part about SuzyKats is their Customer Service and updates on the Member Home Page. They will always notify you if something important is going on, like recently they posted that one of the people who works on the site is going on a small vacation. I think that this is useful because that person replies to emails, so if I send them an email, and don't get a reply fast, I know why! Their Customer Service is also fast at responding. They will respond to any concerns you have and will always be polite. This makes me trust them more and make all my purchases through them.
