If it were possible to give these people less than a ZERO, I would. I had to replace a fragile, broken right hand shelf support for a refrigerator door. Their web site was great but the picture of the item on the site did not look exectly like the

Partstore want to hold you hostage. This site is a scam site. They backordered my part and when I cancelled it within 24 hours, they said they would cancel the order, and email me a cancellation in 72 hours. In 72 hours, I received an email that they were continuing to process my order. After 3 phone calls on different days, 5 emails and a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, they cancelled the order.

Beware! Do not do business with this company!

Do not do business with this company. I placed an order for a glass tray, a tiny fuse and a small light bulb for my microwave oven. The order with shipping (which was calculated by their website as $7.95) came to under $35.00. I recieved my parts in three large boxes (way too large for the items inside) and an extra bill for an addtional $69.00 shipping. I weighed the items, all of which came to under three pounds. When I contacted the company I was told the items were bulky and they could add any amount for additional shipping and or handling without my approval or notification. The customer service supervisor stated that this happens quite often and this is a common customer complaint. At no time did anyone in the company attempt to resolve the issue. This company obviously does not care about customer service or fleecing it's customers.
The worst online shopping experience, I have ever had. I will never do business with this company again! |

Worst printer parts prices I've ever seen online! FGS, shop around and find a good source - and prices are only the beginning of a bad experience - these guys deserve NO BUSINESS.

GREAT experience. Got what I wanted ground shipped and at my door within 3 days.

I had read some negative feedback, but Partstore had the part that I could not find anywhere, not even on Yamaha's own website. So I decided to give them a try. Three days later, I had this obscure part that I had looked for many times in many places at my front door. They send email updates as the order processes. I even called once because I was so skeptical that they might be lying to me, and I got right through to someone who took the time to make sure they had the part in stock. GREAT service.

After reading the not so great reviews I was a little apprehensive about ordering from partstore.com. However my experience was the best.
You do have to push to make sure the part is in stock. And that it is original Mnf eqiupment. But delivery was swift, the lamp was as expected, and packed well. They did charge sales tax, but shipping/delivery was free online only. One of the only places online to buy the Yamaha pjl-327 |

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have had with an on-line retailer. I ordered the part over the phone, but could just have as easily ordered it via their site (and gotten free ground shipping), but wanted to talk to a parts expert. They

Worst online store I have ever used
by watcher123, December 29, 2006

This is the worst online store that i have ever used. The customer service reps and managers will blatantly lie to you. I placed an order and was told the next day that it would be shipped out that day and i would receive the next. I placed calls 4 days in a row and got the same exact response. They also guaranteed that it was in stock and that the warehouse was a little backed up. On the last call i was told that the item was not in stock and that it would be placed on back order. I cancelled the order with the shift manager and he told me that it was too late to cancel and that i would be charged. Do not ever use this store.

Never, never, never...order from partstore.com. Shipping is outrageous and slow on small items. Web site refers to wrong accessories and they won't pay return shipping when they have sent the incorrect item they suggested. Why waste your time and money...find another vendor. Customer service is terrible. It's obvious they are used to dealing with dissatisfied customers....there's your sign.

You're probably not saving time or money

What they don't tell you until the last click is that they'll charge $7.45 shipping and handling to send a small 1-pound package slower by at least two days than even normal ground delivery. It went FedEx ground to the city, then was handed off to USPS.
They also charged too much tax, so I paid almost $12 on top of the $45 cost of the item. I'd check eBay or ordering directly from the manufacturer first. I don't think these guys are saving money or delivering faster, they're just hiding their charges. I don't know about order accuracy, it's still being shipped. |

I would never order anything from the Partstore again. I ordered a pair of Sony headphones costing over $300 and kept getting these e-mail messages that they were on backorder. I had shopped carefully by reading reviews so was willing to wait but when

Do not buy from Partstore

I ordered an Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and was sent Microsoft's recommended replacement part, the Intellimouse Explorer 4.0. I called to explain that I wanted the 3.0 and was told that I could return it and that I would be refunded the full amount along with the return shipping cost.
4 weeks later they finally refund the cost of the item and tax but none of the $13+ of shipping. I emailed to complain and was told by the customer service rep that they do not refund any of the shipping and that the mistake was mine for ordering the 3.0. The rep also bothered to tell me that she can't honor her word of refunding me the return shipping because her hands are tied by the accounting department. To summarize: 1. Misinformation on their website 2. Do not accept responsibility 3. They lie and don't honor their word Do not shop here! |

Do NOT use Partstore when you need something fast.

Shipping Policy is a bit misleading.
I ordered a remote control, and for shipping options, picked 2 days shipping instead of standard ground (5-7). 5 days after ordering the part, I receive an e-mail saying it's now out of stock. (Shopping.com listed it as in stock). 2 days later, I receive an e-mail that it's now in stock and will be shipped out. On their website, it does state that shipping does not include processing time, but it also says that in stock orders are processed in 24 hours. Now here's the kicker, when I called to inquire about a refund on shipping, they said this part typically doesn't begin to ship (processing) for 4-6 business days. If that's the case, why list the bit about orders ship in 24 hours. Further, why pay $16.51 for 2-day expedited shipping when it's going to take a week or more to get delivered? I would NOT recommend using these guys if you need something delivered fast. Adam |

I never thought that I could find so many great items that go with the models I have.
PartStore is a pretty cool site that has all kinds of parts and accessories for the items I have. Once I discovered it, I broke out my laundry list of items that need stuff. For a few that I wasn't sure about, I called the 800# and their operators figured everything out in no time. Good stuff. |

I found the site on shopping.com because i needed a stacking kit for my washer dryer. I went around to a couple of site, but nothing really jumped out at me. I just so happened to be searching on shopping.com and I found these guys, ordered the part and in a couple of days the fedex guy was there at my door delivering it. I was a little leary about giving my email address for them to send me info about my order, but they send me a cnofirmation when I placed it and even told me when it was shipping. The site isn't flashy like some other site, but they seem to have just about anything for anything. I was looking to get a battery for my phone when it goes - and since they already have my information, I think I'm gonna give em a try and you should too.
